1/ Isn't Ilyich the grey dwarf you meet in Irenicus' dungeon at the start of the game?
2/ Waaaaay back about Drizzt's swords... I believe it was like this... Twinkle and Icingdeath are indeed their names, and Defender and Frostbrand are what kind of swords they are. I believe they are a specialized kind of scimitar. Am I right?

1) yes, he is. Why suddenly mention Ilyich?
2) Icingdeath and Twinkle are the names of the scimitars Drizzt uses in R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms Books (See Icewind Dale Trilogy). He found Icingdeath in a young white dragon's lair, and it does cold damage and protects him from fire damage. Twinkle was given to him by Alustriel, ruler of Silverymoon, and it well, somehow or other protects him. DnD books have taken that as an AC bonus. I have no idea how the names Defender and Frostbrand came about. They appear to be made up by Bioware, but for what reasons I do not know.
Again, why suddenly mention Icingdeath and Twinkle?

Actually, Dracos Icingdeath (as he was called in one of the later books) was an adult white dragon, IIRC. Also, Twinkle was given to Drizzt by Malchor Harpell in The Halfling's Gem.
However, concerning the current question, I honestly haven't read the Wheel of Time series, though my mother has read some of that, to tell the truth.

Malchor Harpell? Sigh, my memory seems to be coming apart at the seams... It's been a while since I read the IWD trilogy. I always thought it was a gift from Alustriel. However I thought I read somewhere that the dragon wasn't old. Well, perhaps he was adult, but a young adult... heh.
I assume my question to your answer was correct, galuf?
Hmm. Well, some hints... you find this person together with old friends, in a forested region of Amn.

Hmm... Could it be Safana or perchance Coran???
EDIT:
Oh my bad... That was the hint not the answer, if I'm not mistaking the name would be Lafa-something, am I right??

Araknid's question - this is a complete stab in the dark but is it
Who is Moiraine?

Koreegahn's close. Anyone who's read WoT should be able to guess from Koreegahn's answer.
Nope, its not Moiraine...

hmm, with the 300 characters in WoT it's hard to figure out which on your talking about, but with the start of the name being Lafa- something, it's probably
Who is Lanfear?
BTW, Safana is also a name that shows up in the WoT series. She's a semi-important character, which means you hear of her several times through one book and 1 per every other book.
*MINOR SPOILER*
I think shes a werewolf that you meet, in the forest of Tethyr, you end up killing her but oh well

Ekental is correct, it's Lanfear...
As for Safana... Are you referring to the Shaido Aiel woman? It's Sevanna, not Safana... if there's really a Safana, then I don't know who it is.
Anyway, it's Ekental's turn... if not, someone else.

The female werewolf in Tethyr is AFAIK named Safana. Where then, is Lanfear ?
I'm confused.
If i'm wrong, please correct me

no no im quite sure there really is a safana... with the number of characters in the series shes there somewhere... but the werewolf you kill I think is Lanfear and not someone else... check again, though I could be wrong
Anyway...
a: You meet this person multiple times... a worshiper of Ellistrae
maybe I got the god's name wrong but you should be able to go from there... It's a fairly popular character

q: who is soulafein?
if i remember soulafein says something about some goddess blessing your party after you let him go, and I'm quite sure its not Lloth.
I happened to check some WoT sites... theres no mention of Safana... sorry, Ekental, but I think its sevanna.

Safana is a character from BG1, and she is somewhere in those woods, together with Coran (also from BG1).

Oh well
anyway, araknid is correct, it's Soulafein, so I guess it's his turn

Safana is a sexy NPC from BG1 that you found in the woods somewhere. I think in BGII she attempts to kill you. (also in the woods, tethyr this time)

This powerful item is made from things that you'd never expect to make it - until you read it's hilarious descriptor.
