BTW @Gwally. I don't know if you recall your original Gamebanshee member number? Well in the mix up that happened after the board transferred (Weasel told me this ) when your member name showed your true name...well you lost your identity in GB But!!! never fear!!! something rather bizarre happened and I inherited your number (I am taking good care of it for you). I did intend to return it, when you returned my apples - but unfortunately that can never happen now. Hence I am now member number 1858 (was 1856) and you did become 1860. Check it now!!! you are 1861!!! To my knowledge there have been no further mishaps on the board, but someone else in GB is also stealing your member number, you are in fact a transient!! either that - or another is holding you to ransom over some item you have of theirs. If I was you, I would return it - they may not stop at stealing member numbers!

I thought I was 1862, right? No, my memory is not what it once was, so you must be right. The first thread I ever started was something like "What was happening in History the Year of Your member Number?" but I think it got deleted in Buck's Big Purge (that sounds bad). I recall that the Overland Stage was going strong through Arizona at the time of my member number. A lot of other people posted bits about history during their member number, too bad the thread is gone.

Hmmm. I do remember that you and I were only 2 numbers apart, though it was months before I 'met' you. Oh happy day... ;-)

I also remember getting flamed the first time I posted in SYM... I was going to mention that in Sleepy's recent "SYM is not what it used to be" thread, but never got around to it. I think there are other options for Sleepy here at SYM, but I won't go into that now.

I also missed out on most of the recent discussions about member numbers. What is the fuss all about? Strange that member numbers would change so much... what sort of technical tweaking is going on? *Looks hard at Sleepy*
