@Tam. Last time I was in Perth, some of the locals referred to us as "tothersiders" - I assumed it meant "from the other side", but perhaps it had some subtle meaning known only to South Perth folk (I think that's where I was).

Well we do have a resentment of the Eastern coast guys. Not sure why, I have nothing against them personally. Probably goes back to the early days when we thought of having our own country instead of joining the other states. I have no idea they called you 'tothersider', sounds pretty stupid IMO.
