If the men start drooling... Well, you know how to handle drooling men. :D

LOL! I was just thinking of mentioning this very thing! Thanks for fixing it, Scayde! Now, I shall PM you with further plans.... <evil grin>

Re: Character Changes
It seems to me that the nature of magic is such that none of us here in the real world would really know its affects and characteristics. Therefore, I don't think our characters in Book 5 necessarily have to have anything to do with our characters in Book 6. If Scayde wants to remain a buxom human in both places, that is her choice. We are, after all, only writing this for our own pleasure. If McBane comes along and wants his male dwarven fighter to become a beautiful Half-Orc priestess/thief of Mask  , then so be it. (Hey, if Edwin can become Edwina, anything is possible.... :p )

As far as Gwally goes, he is still human because I frankly don't have a lot of experience with any of the other races. He is a bard because I wanted something different to write about, he is low-level because I wanted a challenge, and he is young because he is low-level and I'm tired of Nippy always calling me "old man"! :p (j/k)

Just my two cents. :) :D

@Gwally, nicely said :) And Scayde, thank you for the edit *hug*- I look forward to reading about your NPCs ;)

@All, for the record, I - for one - was hoping that this new approach to DF would create a freedom for creation. By this I mean that by levelling the ground we can remove any misconceptions of a few organising/orchestratiing the many. I, in my tactless way, posted here that I had considered in my own Book 6 post that the performance would not be until the following eve.

When I created my post for Book 6, I had in mind an event that could draw us all together in one place - but I also wished to create time for this (so that we have space to introduce our characters etc) I did not intend to "boss" the story or direct it in any other way than to leave it all open for a while. If anyone feels that they have to hold back on account that they may interfere with any hidden plot, I can only apologise if I have given this impression, and say that I am sad that this barrier still remains.

As far as I am concerned this is a DF free for all, choose your own characters and play your own roles. Let us please keep it as light hearted as intended, let us take true advantage of this new beginning.

On a lighter note, regarding the actual writing for DF, I am thrilled with how it is turning out :D Great posts, all!

@Ysh.*HUG*.I never considered you to be "bossy" at all......you just pointed out a fragment of discontinuity between a newer post adn an earlier one..I appreciated the help :) ;)

Notes about my writing:

1) I am always willing to edit/delete. If I write something that you don’t like just let me know! :)

2) I don’t always have a plan and my plans can always be changed. Say, for instance, I write that there are a couple of ogres in the path of Scayde, Artemis, and Bimbo #2….. I may not have any specific ideas about how that battle will happen (if I did, I probably would have written it…..). I may have put the ogres there just to throw a monkey wrench (spanner for you Brits) into Scayde’s works. Not that I would do such a thing…. <evil grin>

3) I am always available to collaborate or offer advice, but I have no wish to control/orchestrate the story in any way. This is one of my pet peeves about sex, so why would I want to replicate that here? But that is another issue altogether….

4) I enjoy everything that everyone here has ever written. It is a pleasure playing with you all. :)

Well, writing in the DF is not work so much as it is play. Now the fact that some of you wish to interpret that in various ways makes it just that much more fun! :)

As mentioned in the DF Discussion thread, I've been working on a website. Now, the plan is, that I'll post some screens up of the work here to show you guys, and you can give me feedback.

Thoughts and opinions, frank and open. If it's naff, be honest. I'd rather that than put up a crap site to represent us.
