You might be right
Thing is, that sort of behaviour has never impressed me or any of my female friends. But, admittedly, I've never been drawn to that type of crowd
Could you please find a more palatable term to use for your friends?
And while most enlightened women would agree with you, we have discussed the alternative in another thread, to the point of encouraging the fight.

lmao!
However, I was using it as an adjective, and not a noun

I dunno; there's something to be said about watching two people fight. Let's see: Magrus, if two women were fighting over you, in string bikinis in a mud pit, would you be turned off by them? DW: if two hot sweaty, not-too-muscly-but-quite-fit guys in speedos were fighting in the mud for you, would you really be turned off?

If I were not turned off, it would only be for the free show of nearly naked buff men
However, the fact that they were fighting over me would definitely douse my interest. I'm just not attracted to guys who do things like that.

I had a video tape of two younger girls wrestling...clothed, sans mud pit, during my graduation party. It stopped traffic. I was holding the camera, the girls and myself were unhappy the two guys standing next to me refused to get the hose. Yeah, it was definately not a turn off. They weren't truly fighting though, they were just being teases. Naughty, dirty teases.

Perfect timing.
Trying to reply to the police thread, when out of nowhere up pops my anti-virus updater. It starts going, I let it be. Suddenly, it finishes. Up pops a dialogue box, but I was mid way through a sentence and I pressed spacebar... which clicked yes to the question of restarting my computer. Lost the whole post, and I was almost finished.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

ROFL oh I hate when that happens, too. Fortunately, I think I've only had that specific situation once before, where I was in the middle of doing something and the "Would you like to restart your computer?" question came up; without realizing it, I also had said yes, then flipped out when I realized. I hate that. My anti-virus popped up yesterday in the middle of a very good game of Civ 4, and it knocked me out of the game. That sucks, because whenever I alt+tab out of Civ 4 and go back into it, the game is much slower. I was quite unamused.
What's the topic again? Oh, yeah, ranting. lol. I hate when things interrupt my games, causing them to run slower! Argh! And I hate how Civ 4 runs so slowly on my computer; I have much more than the recommended requirements. I keep thinking it's time to do a hard drive wipe and start over with a clean slate, but the notion of all that work ahead of me--saving what I have on the first drive, moving some stuff to the second (which is low on room as it is), reinstalling Windows (my mom's been trying to get me into XP, so I might go from 2000 to XP or might not, that debate's part of the workload, too), then every program I need, might need, or might come in handy, then every game I'll play and some I'll probably lose interest in quickly, installing drivers to all my hardware... Oh, that's too much thought for this early in the morning. I should just leave it to my mother; she's the one who usually takes care of this sort of thing anyway. Besides, if something goes wrong--as it invariably does--I can blame her.

Oh, I know what you mean there. Playing Counter-strike, if the game alt tabs, you lose all sound. Now, in most games you can carry on... but not when a major part is listening to the incoming footsteps, gun fire and the like.

Oh, Fiona, I so understand. Seriously. FOX always preempts Family Guy and the Simpsons to show god-damn football and sometimes baseball, and it makes me wish I owned a nuclear device. Sadly, then FOX would have news coverage of the blast, and it'd just make the situation worse.

Oh, that's international. Sport...whatever sport it is...trumps the schedule.
I am fed up with the fact that people who like sport are so powerful. My preferred radio station has been hijacked by cricket - again
I apologise to you. I'm probably part of the reason, the people who want to listen to it. If it's any consolation, all our news coverage for the last two weeks was focused on Beaconsfield, from knowing one of the miner's great aunt's long lost crush's friend's dog, to meeting the local baker to hear some story about how he almost got famous .

That's MUCH worse! There is no justification for not showing Family Guy!
And I keep getting these pop ups when browsing GB, anyone else getting that?

Sports are so stupid. It's full of overpaid morons who couldn't make a living doing anything else, thinking they deserve to be able to buy five SUVs and diamond-studded teeth. They don't deserve to be able to preempt regular programming. I'd love to see baseball players go on strike again for higher wages, and see the managers say, "Fine, we'll call up the players in the minor leagues; they'll play for lower pay, and the chance to make a name for themselves in the big leagues. You just go on sippin' your iced teas and acting like arses so you can afford a sixth damn SUV." Bastards.
