Silur wasn't available, so I had to take the photo with Dottie using the timer...and I always get that emptly look on my face if I don't have a photographist to interact with - especially 6 o'clock in the morning :D

You like it? :) I'll leave it in the thread then - actually something just went wrong with the flash :D It's the first time I've used our new digital camera (the old one got stolen). I had no idea it actually had a video recorder too, so I managed to record an .avi with myself standing in the hall examining the camera with a puzzled look for 10 seconds :D

Gives good mysterious atmosphere.

If you want to lighten the pic a bit try running it through Photoshop and tweak the contrast.

Really, Dottie...

...not all good hairdos go well with everyone... you wear it perfectly. ;)

@CE: I'm soooooooo in love with your eyes! :) So, expressive. No wonder prof photogs would want to have you for a model.

BTW, the dark pic reminds me of this IWD2portrait of a female monk... the color combo is also similar!

@Osiris: Thanks for the advice :) I actually did, but it didn't work for some reason, the picture looked brighter in Photoshop, but as dark as an attachment although I changed name of the file...Must have done something wrong, I haven't used Photoshop before for anything else than converting my PET-time/activity curves to other formats :D

Well, hopefully I'll post better pictures later...

I do like it, it looks like something you might see in some sort of funky art magasine ;)

lmao! :D That sounds exactly like the sort of thing I would do! lol! It was quite funny when my partner and I were in Quebec (the French-speaking province of Canada) recently. We actually forgot to bring a camera.... so ended up buying one of those one-use point and press things. ROFL... I am used to a fairly complex manual camera, so there I was standing with this dinky, little, plastic, "point and press" and it took a few minutes before I managed to figure out what to do with it. :D

@DW: Heh, it's good when your failed pictures look arty, at least :D

Like you, I'm used to manual cameras, I almost exclusively take slides, and since my early teens I have used Nikon's mechanical cameras with manual focus and everything :D

Sounds like a lovely trip, hope you had a good time! :)

Thank you Mahar...but that was long ago, when I was young and beautiful ;)

Cool pic, Littiz...

...nice beard you have there.

I think some of the ladies here might rethink about men with beards --- except Scayde of course. :D

It was a recent pic, I took it yesterday. The "when I was young and beautiful" referred to the face-modelling I did as a youngster :D
