I couldn't get a flag for ages after - for love nor money! That's always up now and has been for over a year I guess.

I know what you mean. I fly old glory at my home, and stil have the red/white/ and blue ribbon wreath hanging on my front door. I did not even take them down at Christmas.

Heh...missed this earlier...sorry
Ive gotten the thing started...now all I have to worry about it is trimming now and then, otherwise my face will become a forrest.
I have recieved no positive or negative input on it, so it stays. I hate shaving, and I look better the more my face is covered.
BTW-a side note...As of 4:20 Eastern time this morning, I am an uncle

Interesting little side note. When Texas joined the US, there were a few special provisions she insisted on, and got. One was the legal right to secede from the Union, She could subdivide into 5 separate state, maintain her own militia, and fly the State flag Higher than the US flag.
While I seriously doubt Texas will ever secede, or divide, it is not at all uncommon to se the State flag flown higher than the US flag.

I, for one, would be thrilled to see Texas cecede. She would need to take her president with her, however.
