lol! :D

I think I may have as stomach bug or something, so rather than alcohol, I think some peppermint tea would go down nicely
I think I have the right brew for you: Moroccon herbal tea: mint, cinnamon, chicory, rosehip, liquorice & orange peel.

Thanks Juni! And a biscuit would be nice :D

Oddly enough, Lestat... that is similar to what I am currently drinking in RL. My favourite tea shop makes a blend called Arabian Mint which contains:

*peppermint
*spearmint
*ginger
*orange peel
*cocoa peel
*cactus flowers
*pu$$ywillow blossoms

It's really nice!

Well I was introduced to the brew (though not this specific one) through a stand in which a Moroccan youth movement presented itself in my birth town, and really liked it.
It's of course best when freshly made, the leaves being put in the kettle with sugar and all, but I have to with bags mostly...

I'm not keen on sugar in tea, myself. I guess I sort of outgrew it.

Incidentally, I've been wondering, is tea without sugar some kind of social faux pas? I ask because on Marry Poppins, they ask if someone wants "one lump or two" of sugar in the tea, and the option of no sugar isn't even mentioned.

I love Moroccan tea, which is a bit odd considering I don't normally like sweeteners in tea or coffee (except espresso, which I drink black with raw cane sugar).

Hmmm... Maybe I'll have to start growing some mint. Aside from being good in tea, it would also be nice for mojitos :D
(mojitos are one of the very few c0cktails I actually like)

@Aramant,
I think it is just convention in Britain. Most people I've ever met from the UK like sugar (and milk) in their tea. Moroccan tea being a major exception, I can't stand either.

Ohh, it's not that much of a covention...they may have the option but it's harldy compulsory. Indeed, there are many sugar replacement things or people who just don't have it.
Myself, I never have tea or coffee, I just don't like hot drinks much.

Thanks though, it is a while since I've been in the UK, so I'm probably a little out of touch with things like that.

Who's just being silly? Chu? Who threatens to quit SYM at the drop of a hat?

Or Damuna_Nova, who whines about depression whenever someone teases him or uses an abbreviated form of his name that he doesn't like (not "BL"- things like Dammy or whatever), but who'll turn around and toss jokes and insults at others whenever he wants to?
