The Brain Stem controls all non concious activities (except tribal instincts, thats the reptile brain).

I refer to the primary brain as the one which is responsible for memory, motor skills, conversation and other such tasks.

That's still part of the primary brain, it is not a different brain, it is just a different part with different tasks.

The second brain is not in the stomach, it is spread out along the intestines and is completely independant.
