Venom, it's not that you're bad. It's... well, you smell. Seriously, your breath could drop oxen.
Ooh, harsh. I wasn't going to mention the hallitosis. Phew!! :p ;)

Well sorry everyone, but I live on the principle of 'If I can't see it, it can't hurt me', and it is still 3 days off being visible, so therefore, it can stay like that. ;)

Maybe I can take that policy regarding my vision. If I can't see what they're talking about in my lectures, maybe I don't have to bother listening either. :D ;)

 Hahaha.

Well, for some unknown reason, some certain people believe that isn't true. I've never understood why (maybe this is Hill's antiprocess) .

Hello, Rav, Kipi.

GB has been throwing me out too and at times it has been very slow. I thought it was a local problem, but apparently not

Rav, you pleased with your glasses?

It was happening just before I last left. Non-stop database errors evenwhen going Back to previous pages.
It's been fine for me since I arrived though.
Rav, you pleased with your glasses?
Still pretty shocked at the difference they make really. :p
And, yeah, they're good glasses. :)

@Kipi, yeah, we haven't been around at the same time much lately... :(

Strange, I haven't had any such problems. But then again, I haven't been around much lately

Yes, the difference is great. My brother got glasses few years ago, and after that he really noticed how bad his vision was...

I know, I know. Have been very busy lately, thanx to basketball and university  :(

It was only late last night (AFAIK). Maybe they were doing some spot maintenance or something. *shrugs* :p

Yeah? As for me, it's only my long-sight that's bad, fortunately. That means I don't have to wear glasses too much.

How's the basketball going? I saw a reference to a tournament?

There's a man on the radio just now, who has a strange hobby. He attaches something he calls "rare earth magnets" to a golf club. Then he walks over fields and and other places practising his golf swing and looking for meteorites at the same time. He says he has been doing this for 10 years, but he hasn't found one yet. Is this an example of english eccentricity?

Okay, no wonder I haven't experienced it

Well, that's good to hear.

Pretty well, just keeping me so darn busy becuase it's my responisiblity to organize referees to junior games in near cities...
And well, it's not actually a real tournament, but more like a national-team-camp, where young selected players go and they are going to show their skills and such, and after several such camps the national team of that age is decided based on those camps.
During this camp there is also unofficial referee camp, where experienced and best referees from our country comes and teach younger referees. So that's why I'm going there.

@Fiona, at least it's not a metal detector. *readies golf club for swing* BEEP-BEEP-BEEEEEEP!! In the middle of my backswing?!!? :p
I guess it's something to do while playing golf, though I can't imagine carrying around heavier clubs helps much...

@Kipi, so it's a talent-search/training thing?
Going to be trying some refereeing?

For players, yes, but I'm not going there as such. My skills as players aren't even close to that level what they require to get there as a player

So, for me it's 4 days full of basketball games and having good time with other referees (yes, prolly a lots of drinking at evenings too :devil :) . Also, I could also actually learn something interesting and new from more experienced referees ;)
