Well, you surely have a problem there... :p
But fortunately you have 2*48=96 hours time to think, since I will be able to check this place again prolly either ot Tuesday evening or Wednesday.

Can I include dialogue in my go? I rolled the initiative (and described how it's done for people).

Have to check that from rulebook, but I think it's possible, especially if you add it as an action to one of the rounds, and do it like shouting orders while attacking (no, haven't yet checked your post :p )

@Kip, I'll probably stick some Diplomacy or something similar in as part of my go.

Hi DJV, yep, you're missing the exciting stuff here. :D ;)

Well I'm not really missing it, seeing as I'm here now... :)

WB? Can't say I can realise what that means off the top of my head.

And do you want me to attack also, or should I wait on Rav's Diplomacy?

Also, can I tackle him for starting a fight? :D

@Kip, I posted my first turn action (with the Diplomacy).

WB is Welcome Back, DJV. Don't worry, I didn't get it the first time I saw that acronym. :p

Just presume I fail at the diplomacy and say who you want to attack and include the neccesary rolls.
And include your initiative roll at the same time (just once).

Heh, you may be in a long queue to get revenge on Yepi's character. :D ;)

That's true :D

WB = Welcom Back ;)

Yes, but follow the guide I have posted there in short and detalied in discussion thread.
Also, can I tackle him for starting a fight? :D
Hmmm... in theory, yes, if you really want to. But that will use one whole round, I think.

@Rav:
Isee you changes, if you still would put actions for every 5 rounds, I would be happier ;)
If you success, I will cancel actions already put there and ask players for new actions.

Rightio then, I'm happy to be back.

I'm seriously considering doing the tackle... but if he doesn't chop my head off, one of the other dwarves will :D .

Alrighty then, first of all I need to find out how much damage my crossbow does, and then I need to figure out how much damage Magic Missile does... to D20! :D

Fine.
I just hope that either everybody else puts the actions for 5 rounds, or no-one does :D

Yeah, people do tend to follow my example a lot. :p
I'll make sure people know how many actions to stick in.
Can I just say things like attack the nearest dwarf?
Otherwise I may end up provoking Attacks of Opportunity and the like.

@DJV,
For your crossbow, your to hit roll is
1d20+3
And your damage is
1d8
(I don't think there are any bonuses to the damage)

MM does 1d4+1 damage.

Well let's just hope that everybody's favourite paladin can convince some blood thirsty dwarfs who have had an axe swung in their face not to attack. :)

And I got an init roll of 5  .

Question:
I was looking at the damage of a light crossbow, and it says 1d6 dmg (s) 1d8 dmg (m)... which one do I use, there's no explanation.

EDIT:
Well you beat me for the crossbow one, and I found MM.

Heh, maybe I can persuade them our dwarf is crazy. ;)

Never mind, it only means your actions will take place later. I hope for your sake that your character isn't near a hostile dwarf. The result may not be so pretty. :p

The damage thing for the crossbow refers to the damage done by diffent character races, I believe. E.g. a halfling is a 'small' character and so gets the damage under the 'S' column. Your character is an elf (or half-elf) which is Medium category, so you get the damage under the M column, like I do.

Well, actually I would hope you name the opponent.
I haven't mentioned this earlier, but since our group is consisting new players, I was mostly going to leave AoO out, excluding some situations.

Also, I think I will mention this, that depenging of players action, I will mention after every five rounds who is so close to opponent tha (s)he suffers penalty if using ranged weapons or if one or more players are in danger zone of possible area-spells.

Okay, going to get something to eat, then going home. I will be (hopefully) be back later today.

Further questions:
What is a ranged touch attack, I can't understand it and I'm not sure what I need to roll for acid splash:

Seeya Kipi, I'll be gone when you get back too.

Ah, that's good. It would be a bit difficult to fairly include AoO's anyway as we're going for 5 rounds a time.
Okay, I'll name the enemies. :)
But I can use Diplomacy on their whole group?
Also, I think I will mention this, that depenging of players action, I will mention after every five rounds who is so close to opponent tha (s)he suffers penalty if using ranged weapons or if one or more players are in danger zone of possible area-spells.
Okay, that seems fair, especially considering they won't be attacked for using their go to move a character.

Cya later Kip. :)

@DJV, it looks like a standard ranged attack roll (for you 1d20+3).
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/combat ... uchAttacks
And that page explains a little behind the touch attack idea.
