I've been known to kill a liter of vodka or rum in an hour on a good night and still be able to cook a gourmet meal...

Screwdriver or straight juice?

We should both do shots and see who's the last one standing!

You think I'll lose my balance earlier b/c of a glass of juice than you after a glass of vodka?

I dunno, I can down a lot of vodka. I'd give it a 50/50 shot of which of us ends up sick or passed out first with doing shots like that.

As for the Citadel, it is in the process of a change of ownership. The Spammers, and SYMian deities are working to finalize the deal to pass control over. The Heathens shall be evicted. Of course, this is subject to negotiation.
Oh yeah, and you missed Ragnarok

Why? everyone is welcome, as long as he/she/CM help buyint drinks, or dont try to ruin the tapestry.

I've been wanting to make myself a booze helmet, you know like those beer helmets? Not with beer though, maybe a flask on one side and a can of soda on the other with two straws. That way you can get your drinking done with your hands free.
Any thoughts on whether this would be a good idea?

Why not? You can steal the idea of the Forma-1 racers, they wear helmets like that, too!

well as long as you would only use it in non-public places i think it's an excellent idea, as long as you remember not to drink too much from the alcohol bottle compared to the soda so you get good tasting stuff all the time

I don't think he'd ever consider drinking less alcohol than soda, though..

Oh so true, no you shot it from one end, and use the soda as a chaser. Unfortunately, you'd need small containers to prevent neck pain. SO it would have to come with a belt type thing to hold more flasks. Or possibly a backpack system, rather than the helmet? Hmm....you could hold 5 gallons easy that way...

5 gallons of booze or soda?

Half and half.

[QUOTE=Magrus]Half and half.

You would either need a mountain of money, if you were to have half and half of booze and soda, or only a few drops of soda

The soda's the cheap part, 2 1/2 gallons of good rum or vodka would run at least $200 dollars, where soda would run maybe $25-$30. Plus the unit, which they DO have refridgerated backpack type beverage dispensors for people who sell cups of soda/beer at sports games and such. You'd just have to put hoses to it and a maybe a little hand-held button for the pump to pump it through the tubing and such.
Now, getting yourself a liqour license, which the cost is horrid initially, could save you a lot of money ordering all the booze wholesale. Unfortunately, attempting this would probably land me in the hospital waiting on a new liver. SO not going to happen.
