But I do know, that something is different around SYM. I don't know if it's me, or it, but it's not as happy, nor as fun. It's too forced. Were just going through the motions.

I'm not American; what the hell does "how do you like them apples, Oprah" mean?

I know Oprah is some televangelist or something like that...

Looks like revenge for us confusing them with British phrases...

"How do you like them apples?" was a famous quote (most recently) from the movie Good Will Hunting. Will was in a college bar and one of the college guys picked on his friend when he tried to talk to one of the girls. Will eventually gets the girl's number and after leaving the bar sees the college guy in a coffee shop:
Will: Do you like apples?
Clark: Yeah.
Will: Well, I got her number. How do you like them apples?

Oprah is a TV talk show host, and I think is the richest woman in the US. Her show centers around self-help type of topics, people overcoming their problems, and horse-pucky like that. Adding her name to the quote was just a silly reference, there was no actual hidden meaning.
