Hey, Tibby... Was slow to log on because the thunderstorms. Having an experience with the power of lightning, I decided not to chance getting on my computer until it cleared up.

Otherwise, I'm still waking up. :)

Fun. Thunderstorms. They are great to look at and watch but not so great when you want electricity working in your house. Heres an interesting topic of discussion: What do you do for entertainment when the powers out?

Waking up-thats a 12 hour drill for me sometimes. :D

It seems we have different view on thunderstorms... One of them was a major bookmark of my life. I could do without them, I think.

I rely on my music all the time, even when power is on. My headphones get more use than my tv does. :D

I'm lucky if I get sleep with the two youngyuns who think that being nocturnal is a natural way of life for kids thier age. :( ;) :D

Really? What happened?

Same here. If my brother is home, and theres light I usually play chess, or checkers, or maybe even Civilization the board game. Ive heard interesting stories on what people do when the power goes out...

LOL :D Yes, I felt that way too at a younger age, but I still obeyed my dad. Back then I thought 9:30 pm was a late bedtime. :D

Greetings Locke. I dont think Ive ever talked to you, greetings. :)

Any specific Comic Books?-I have been interested in Marvel and DC Comics for a while. While I dont collect any, I am well aware of many characters, and I enjoyed watching the cartoons as a kid. :D

@ Tibby - I don't get electricuted and tell. :( :o

@ Locke - lol! Alright, I'll be sure to try it. I try not to threaten my kids with creepy stories of monsters... I always found them to scare the living daylights out of them until they wouldn't sleep anyways. :o

What used to scare me as a kid: Aliens. **Shudder**

LOL :D I better change the subject of the conversation QUICK because if we start talking about him too much, I will have nightmares for the next 2 weeks. :D

Do you have any personal opinion about the probable strike date in baseball?

Not really... As I said before, St Louis and O'fallon people are not Cardinals fans.. We aren't big baseball people at all. Personally, I think that the baseball players should get a grip on reality and hold on tight. ;)

For someone who doesnt care a wholelot of baseball, you certainly have a strong point, and one that I agree with, for sure. I could go into a long and drawn out post describing my opinion, but thats only trivial, and Im sure you would fall asleep reading it, so I wont even bother.

Are you excited over the quickly-approaching NFL season? I know BS, Ned and I are really looking forward to it, are you among us?

Well, I know diddly-squat about NFL players, with the exception of the ones who draw un/necessary attention to themselves. Otherwise, I'm totally into the game and am definetly ready to wait for Superbowl.

We're still angry with the Patriots, though... :D
