While my thread was being burned down before it even got a chance to become full, I contacted the mods twice, once because Chu posted when my thread asks that people not post, and the second because after calling in mods a mod came and made very harsh comments about the thread.
This has completely destroyed my faith in mods being reasonable.
Luis is not a SYM mod, outside the threads he moderates, he's just normal (for want of a better word) member. You contact the mod that regulates the thread or one of the two super mods (Xandax or Fable).

Maybe Chu was right. Maybe we do suck donkies.
Oh, Im quite sure we all do.
And, I was merely quoting Wankerly there.
@ Damuna: Asking for a thread
not to be posted in (other than iks joke, which was posted in.) kindof defeats the purpose of a forum, dont ya think?

While you people bombarded me with stupid names like "Dammy", I complained that I did not like the names repeatedly, and even mods were calling me it when they should have been setting an example by following my wishes.
In my experience "taddling" about such things as an infuriating nickname has caused more harm than not, in fact, telling a mod about something that seems so stupid is often perceived as a waste of the moderator's time, and you get punished for that.

We did deal with that though. Several people did help you out with that, myself included...yet, how often have you mentioned the people who have tried to help you, rather than focusing on the negative and making yourself more depressed?
I know being called a stupid nickname constantly is annoying and even demoralising over the long term, I've dealt with enough of that personally....

BBQ is settled and I have conference calls until 8pm, how about a little refresher? Maybe a Captain & Coke?
Nano, the deal with your nickname was just playful bantering. We all do it to each other. We don't mean it to be mean and we don't expect it to be taken seriously. We rib each other all day long, and well into the night. You give to people just as often as they give to you so there is no reason to feel singled out or abused because no one was inteding it that way. I've had my own bout of over-sensitivity lately so I do know where you're coming from, and the best advice I can give you is to walk away, do something to get your mind off it and come back and get back into the playful nature we all try to assume most of the time.

I know you drink Red with meat, and Champagne is bubbly.

No lime, thank you.
So how'd you wade through all this mess to find the bar Shana? I didn't think anyone would see Juni over in the corner with the rest of the ruckus.

My stepbrothers grandad makes homemade wine (from home grown grapes.) I got shocked by the electric fence (to keep out the coons) around them once.

lol! A homing instinct! Kind of like if you stumble into a bar or restaurant when your bladder is ready to overflow. You *always* seem able to locate the bathroom, no matter how cleverly it has been hidden
