Hahaha. I told my mother the only decent thing there would be Lordi though I hardly know anything about the competitors...glad to see I was right. :laugh:
Wish I'd seen that entry though....

And I could probably think of more to say about art, you know...

Me too, just saw a bit of the votings... It's madness! Finland hasn't gotten less than 4 points by any country! And MANY have given them 12!

Lordi, by the way, is generally considered one of the "bad" metal bands...

And yeah, it is quiet.

Ohh, haven't heard of that one...the ones they've introduced me too invclude ManowaR, Children of Bodom, Opeth among others.

Heh. I found another BBC article. Wogan (who commentates for the BBC) said that 'there's Klingons and orcs singing for Finland' :laugh:

I don't really like CoB all that much... prefer "cleaner" metal... Soilwork, Gamma Ray and such... I also like Korpiklaani and Moonsorrow, both Finnish.

I think my general prefence is Power Metal...though there are so many sub-genres that it just gets confusing.

Hmm, looks like I might be able to watch the Lordi act after all, I think the BBC has posted all the videos on their website.
