That would be fine to me, but there would be some difficulties, like controlling of character -thread and passing my notes/ideas to new DM. And also, who would be the new DM?

But if I may ask, lets keep this discussion in there, so that all players can see our discussion ;)

Yup. The other alternatives would have been much over year working somewhere, jail or joining one of the few religion groups that are free from millitary service.

No worries, cause I'm not going. IMO it's my duty to have my millitary service, and I do not see any reason to try to avoid it.

And besides, it would affect many other things in future, like getting a job, if I do not go to army.
