I went to bed at 6.30am and got back up at 12.
I got up at six this morning (Got to sleep at 2.).
Nothing wrong with rising at 6, or any time before that.
But 7:30? Nay, 'tis sheer heresy.

What's wrong with 7.30 exactly?

'Tis simply an evil time to wake from yonder dreamworld.

What about 7.29 or 7.31?

Heresy.

How far does the heresy extend?

8h00 is the time to wake up (and turn around for a few more minutes).

Though Lestat speaks truth for practicality, I still would not wake at such an hour willingly.

No, the ability to turn over and go back to sleep is good at any hour.

Ahh, where would we be without the humble alarm clock....

I hate those things, they're cursed useless.

Who needs an alarm clock to wake up?

I do, if I'm forced to get up at 7 to go to University or something (not while I'm on holiday like now obviously)
Who needs an alarm clock to wake up?
uhhh ... I do. And if I need to make really sure I put it somewhere so I have to get out of bed to stop it.

But...don't you just wake up when you need to?
Posted: Tue May 23, 2006 6:41 am
by Ravager
I can do that some of the time. I'll wake up a few minutes before the alarm, but my sleeping pattern has been so screwed lately, that it's not as reliable as having an alarm set.
And if I need to make really sure I put it somewhere so I have to get out of bed to stop it.
I should do that more often. I hadn't really thought of doing something like that.
