What about Manaan? It's so beautifull I can't imagine the next game without it. It's also the only planet so far where it was forbiden to kill people. On every other planet if you kill somebody it has small to no consequences. And the ocean, ::sigh::,the ocean.

Majority Unknown
I think most of the planets will be unknown to us as they are planets that Revan went searching for in unknown territory.
However if he is planning to return with an army of sith behind him then perhaps some planets from the existing, known universe will be used.

Well i'm going to be greedy. But i think i have somewhat of a point here. Okay if anyone has played Oblivion on PC, 360, PS3?, then you will know how huge that game is. Morrowind on XBOX, PC burries the KOTOR 1 and 2 put together in terms of size.
So i'll state now i'm not bashing the KOTOR 1 and 2 games.
But what i think should happen, is that they make all the planets visited to date available. Update them, add in new missions etc tha can be done. Then add in a lot of new planets, some have barely anything to do witht he plot, some don't and some majorily involved. What i'm basically saying is, the previous games lacked places to visit, things to do. And for me they could of easily expanded the xbox versions and hopefully the 360 version and pc for 3. As the gameworld should be huge, should have like a 30 hour core storyline like Oblivion, and then you can go off doing what you want like in Oblivion in tons of quests things to do, places to explore.
For me its a plausable idea. As in reality the KOTOR gameworld needs to be expanded upon, because restricting a game to 6 planets for me just shows lack of size. For me if they can include all visitied planets, and then add new planets like Corusant etc then that would be one hell of a game.

This is a good point, I tihnk one of the main problems with both games was that once you had done the main quest on each planet, there was often not much else left to do.MikeLUFC7 wrote:

However, I can also see that making that many world could also get quite tedious or repetitive after a bit. I'm a huge Morrowind fan, but one of the reasons I like KOTOR in relation to it is that the side quests are more interrelated, and its more driven towards the overrall story, whilst maintaining a degree of open-endedness.
I suppose it's down to how different/individual you want each planet to be. I have a feeling it's not down to system requriements, but more how much time the devs have to make all the different worlds.
Various:
Coruscant
Naboo
Manaan
Tatooine
Kashykk
Taris (during planetary rebuild)
HK-47 side quest:
Geonosis (robot factory)
Force sensitive worlds:
Nar Shaddaa (discover why the force is strong on this world)
<don’t know planet name> World were Visa came from.
Sith dead or ruined worlds:
Onderon / Dxun. : Both mandalorian camp and Sith temple.
Yavin 4 : Both station and planet, maybe first quest on station and then permission to land on planet)
Korriban : Rebuild academy and larger area in Valley of the Sith Lords, maybe towards the large statues you see in the distance from Kotor 2 landing site (additional grave sites previously unknown perhaps).
Malachor V : Astroids
Ossus : Library ruins
Jedi’s Secret enclaves:
Telos (after planetary rebuild
Dantooine
Coruscant
Naboo
Manaan
Tatooine
Kashykk

I hate to knit pick but.... (ok i spose i don't) i was under the impression that some of the planets mentioned where already destroyed Ossus for one and wouldn't Kattar be a bit bland with all life on it destroyed?
and I for one think re visiting planets killed off in the first game plot (ie Dantooine, Telos and Taris ) would be a bit boring especially after having already spent far to many hours playing Telos
I agree with pretty much every one that Coruscant would be a good addition with the temple there and just the idea of a massive city, I also liked the idea of visiting the Massassi temples on Yavin IV but i think it might be interesting to also see Yavin itself and the same with Endor we only saw its forest moon in the movie (and appearantly Endor was destroyed by the time of episode VI so it leave room to properly annihilate a planet )
and for those not sick of my opinions (yet) I wasn't a massive fan of Mannan what with the tedious neutrality and constant imprisonment

How about there is a system where, when you start out on Courascant, you chose weather to be light, dark or neutral and then the game gives you a planet depending on what alignment quests you did on the last planet you where on. Eg: so if you where good on Courascant, you would get assigned a planet which racks up the LS points. But if you were DS all the way through that same planet, you would be assigned to a different planet which gives alot of chances for ds! If you are neutral, yu can be assigned planets where its more about knowledge rather than LS or DS. This way, you have hundreds of different sets of planets and the game dosent get that much repetetive unless you do the exact same thing over. You would have a set end planet(s) but the rest would be up to you! It would take a while sure, but it would be worth it!

That sounds cool, but that would change the whole story on the first planet. In KotOR I you decide weather it's the darkside or lightside ending in the very end, but if it were the way you described, you would decide that on the first planet you start off at. Well, you could still make it work, though, but what if you were lightside and wanted to change to dark? If there were alot of lightside choices and quests, then it would be difficult.

No, You can change to light from dark or visa versa, if you chose 1 planet ad you wer light, you go to a planet where there is more LS points to gain. BUT you can be ds on that planet so that when you go DS on that planet, the system assigns you another planet!Bob Dole176 wrote:That sounds cool, but that would change the whole story on the first planet.
