Drinking and spamming the perfect combination :p :D :D

Seriously though, what is a man with as much knowledge as yourself going to do with it?

Thanks to everyone for your best wishes! I feel I don't deserve them considering the amount of controversy my opinions usually provoke on this forum.

Well, I graduated with a degree is in English, and I really enjoy politics, so probably... journalism? That'll mean going back to school, however, and I just don't have enough money to do that right now. I already have a full-time job, so I might just stay put for the next year or two, scale the corporate ladder, and save up some money to pay off my student loan, among other outstanding debts.

... oh yeah, and reply to Tom's questions!

Honestly, Tom, my knowledge of meta-ethics is pretty limited, and my understanding of Kant is restricted to his writings on the categorical imperative. I intend to brush
up on some philosophy before posting a response.

Certainly you don't need to feel that :) Your posts here often rise a lot of controversy, and some members are sometimes offended by your statements, but that is something I think should be totally separated from congratulations due to your academic performance. You know you and I don't agree on anything (well, I think we once agreed Shakespeare was great writer :D ), but that certainly doesn't mean I don't wish you well :)

Your graduation also means you have some more time to continue our discussion about moral issues :) And contrary to Tom's post, you don't need to refresh your philosophy for replying to my posts. I haven't taken a philosophy course for ages, and Tom is there to help us both clarify definitions :)

Since I realise some confusion might have arose due to my misunderstanding of your use of the term "objective moral" and my own misuse of the the term "objective" and "relative", I will post some clarification on this soon.

@Sleep..I disagree with you here. Shakespeare could fifteen pints of Boddies whilst whistling the theme tune to Jaws. :)

I just feel he is over rated, out of however many dramatical productions he wrote there are only 2 which i found at all interesting (hamlet & MacBeth & Othello at a push) THey are not particularly well written IMO.

@Fezek how did you first find out about Shakepeare?

Okay, time for a new topic. :)

No no, Fabe...your word is only law over at the BGII board. Shame on you for trying to stunt the growth of a topic here at SYM, the land where all topics live under free rule. :p ;) :D

Many times i've seen an unexpected topic form in an unrelated thread. Don't see why this one should be any different. Perhaps your head is swelling with your new found authority. :D
