Dear Tom,

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a dwarf. However, when one feels a strong urge to be something else than what one is, there is always reason to question why this urge is so strong.

Whereas appreciating of the simple things is life may lead to happiness, hatred seldom does. Beside, couldn't you hold a love for gold and ale and dislike orchs even if you are not a dwarf?

I also sense an aggression in you. Do you believe everybody want to be a dwarf? Do you believe everybody should want to be a dwarf? Now, tell me about your childhood.

And please try these speedos...
Sorry CE Dwarves dont wear speedos

Now your first question is a good one. The thing is that dwarves have an uncomplicated outlook on life and they love GOLD and ALE instinctively while humans can only do so relectivly. And therin lies the whole difference since love should never be tainted by intellect.

to your other questions. no, yes.

my childhood was unexeptionel mostly spent in the deep mines looking for that elusive vein of gold in the small tunnels where the grownups could not go.

Bah, so they are conservative and narrow-minded!

Do we know for sure that the love for gold and ale in an inherent instint? Is it entirely genetically determined, or does it just look inherent because the Dwarf society has strong norms and reinforce a love for gold and ale, whereas other inclinations are punished or ignored?

ANNOUCEMENT

The position as my secretary has gone to Mr Sleep.

Since all the applicants have shown unexpected virtues and skills, I will however give them all a second chance. From Monday, I will be away for approximately 2 weeks, and during this time, Yshania will replace me. All interesting in future positions should use this time to assist Ysh as best they can, and I may offer you positions when I return.

An entirely fair and objective board of advisors, consisting of T'raptor, Minerva and Georgi will help Ysh and me assess the candidates.

No, while it is less formal than say, a tuxedo or a business suit, it's just making me nervous and not at all relaxed. :D

That gives credibility to all "temporary insanity" pleas in here. I have just gone temporarily (at least, I hope it's temporarily) blind :D .
