@BS - that is cheating!! So it is the longest in that it climbs the highest? yet as the bird flies I bet the distance from A to B is not in excess of 9000km! :rolleyes: :D

ok, the REAL question is

This city was flourishing a couple thousand years before Rome in was founded, making it the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world

Sorry kids, Kam was right first time. The Trans-Siberia line is the longest continuous railway line anywhere. The Peruvian railway is the highest railway in the world. I think everyone kind of knew that anyway...mistake on BS' part. I don't think it changes the results though anyway, so I'll shut up now. I can probably find a link to verify that if anyone really cares.

EDIT - wow. Lots of posts went up while I was writing that :) . Anyway, is anyone allowed to answer these questions, or just Kam, Tyb, McB and whoever else is on the leader board on the first page...?
