i think my buddy ripped the song from somewhere, but it fits me nicely.

*chu guns the delorean hard into the spam factory, a little too hard as a matter of fact. The car skims the snow and begins to barrel roll. Chu holds on tight and pulls down on the belts, guiding it around a spam machine even in the chaos. However, chus manuever sends the car into a nosedive. The car noses gainst the hard concrete floor solidly, with a sickening crunch. the car is a wreck, but chu will live to fight another day, and possibly restore the delorean*

I got burglared and my almost brandnew laptop got stolen with personal files on it that I accumulated over the years...

Yep, the landlord is willing to cover for the cost of the laptop (as he is responsible for security), but it is the loss of the files on it that really made me wanna cry... and hit someone with a sledgehammer.

That, and the fact that someone entered my apartment with a potentially deadly weapon (an iron bar)...

I've been confused, frustrated, and bleeding of late. Buddy got worse without me there to discipline him. He cut me open bad two nights ago when I was on the phone being confused and frustrated.

I saw you may have gotten a promotion. Is that true? How have you been?

Well I still have a meager hope. The landlord send someone out to try and 'recover' (buy back) it in the shady places and I put my own feelers out. I don't really care about the loss of the material or money but I WANT MY FILES BACK! They also stole a pair of shoes and a halfbroken down old lap top. Luckily they left my CD's, DVD's and Games alone...
Alas only little hope to recover my stuff...

No not yet......the meeting I was supposed to have got "delayed"...and we have rescheduled for Monday....I'm not entirely sure that this new job would be the right thing for me.....but, theres nothing to loose by having the conversation...!
Other than that life has been going well.....uneventful..which is kinda nice actually.....getting ready for the holidays and such.......and its right freakin' FREEZING here......its days like this that I remember that I live in Maine voluntarially......

@Juni, No, he does what he wants. It's sort of a thing we've come to the conclusion if we give him something he wants, he'll be good until he's bored. Punishing him doesn't work.

I love the cold, so it doesn't bother me at all being stuck in NY in winter. Except for the ice, and the people whining. :laugh: Sometimes promotions aren't a good thing. I got promoted a few years ago at a job, management promised me things, never followed through, and I quit after months of arguing with them. If you're happy, it might be better to say to them you need the option where you can go back to your old job if you try the new one.

I was starting a business, my partners got lazy. Although, I'm in the beginning stages of something that's caught my attention just a few minutes ago.
