My day is going well! Still stupid cold here ( -12C )....BUT! oh well! THe bosses are gone today :mischief: so, believe it or not.....i;ve gotten tons done and have been able to visit here a fair share today!

So, whats the assignment your working on now?

@Lestat, I just went back and saw what happened, that's truly horrible. I'm glad I backed up a good portion of my files from my computer before it crashed, the night before actually. Having it stolen, and losing important files is just terrible. I'd be hunting people down with a very large sharp object.

It's the animation one, calling the emergency services etc. I have to write a storyboard for it, finish off the evaluation, then it's all done, unless I add a few tweaks.

*shakes head*...no that the real temp right now, when i got up today it was -15C......wind chill is worse....tonight is supposed to be even colder than last night.....January & February is even colder here and in the Northern part of the state & in the mountains it can be even colder than where I am in the southern part....Ah, we are just used to it....
All the cold comes down from Canada.....damn Canadians...:laugh:

And if I see the level of violence he used to try to get in (he apparently first tried to break out the iron grid on the window, before forcing the door), I'm really happy I didn't wake up and got confronted with him. Still makes me want to slap him with a sledgehammer though, but after properly restraining him.

Heh, and I wasn't even drunk...
You are not the only ones to be surprised. But it's true that though I don't fall asleep easily, once asleep I usually have some hours of truly deep sleep.

Hmm, sounds like he was desperate. Would you have been doing anything on that computer to have made it incredibly valuable beyond the fact it can be sold as a computer?
