This is a much-needed break from the seriousness of the whole Abomination plot. Great jobs, Gwally and Ysh.
I hope nobody minds if I begin my plot, as well. I decided to go Nuetral Evil this time (It was to be expected
) Mage/Cleric with an annoying obnoxious familiar.

Hmmm...I must admit, I'm rather confused. I suppose I'll put my next installment on the new thread, as that seems to be more appropriate...
Considering some changes are about to happen to Thalimon, I suppose this would be a wise move.

@Chanak: I consider book 5 to still be an open, active story. Book 6 is a diversion for trying out new, lighter, stuff.

My character kind of time-warped/dreamed herself over into the 6th Book, so I can always dream/nightmare myself back into the other Book. (Hm, I think that Book just
has to be capitalized.
)

though he has yet to read it I think. That said, I best check that PM I just received from him
We are not replacing Book 5, Book 5 will continue at it's own pace until it's conclusion
My thoughts were that book 5 will remain open to conclude at leisure, and to eventually run into book 6. I thought that maybe Der-draigens stone (which is with T'lainya at the moment) fractures during a divine battle between T'lainya and the Shadow Master, maybe Corellon (sp) and Rillifane are involved too (since Rillifane has already made an appearance, and is concerned about the Abomination) When the stone fractures, it opens a portal that casts the DF back in Faerun time (not back in their lives per se, ie they are not re-born only displaced) and in this transition they have lost their memory, so effectively maintain their race (though A-c seems not to have but that's fine too - it *is* a new beginning
) At least Ysh will maintain her race, but have forgotten her druidic training. This allows us to experiment if we like with other classes, 3rd edition rules will allow Gwally to be a bard/druid (if he so wishes
) At some point in the future, we can choose if we want our characters memories to return. In the meantime I was thinking that snippets could come over in dreams but be dismissed. Maybe the memory loss is a gift from the gods to allow some kind of healing
These were my thoughts, anyway.

Nice transition, Mysteria! I like the name Ria - very fitting for your new character!
I tried a similar transition in my own post - my latest post in Book 5 spoke of Gwalchmai's desire to see a river valley rather than the Abomination caves, but the sweat on his brow drew him back to reality. In Book 6, Gwally's sweaty head gets him to the top of a hill to view a river valley.... subtle, wasn't I?
Now all we need is a mage to accidentally turn Fas into a penguin, and everything will be right with the world!

I tried to pick a name that bears some similarity to DW, and also one that somewhat reflects her new vocation
