It's time for Ode to show off again...

I've got my black suede knee-high boots and black-on-the-outside, puple-on-the-inside double-lined velvet cloak (floor-length and with a hood), if that helps. It set me back Aus$ 160, about US$ 80, I think, but it's worth every cent.

What are you up to ? Are you going for the "Vampire Lestat" lookalike trophy ? Got a pic of that outfit ? ;) :D

No worries,

I just saw the cloak in a store one day and decided I wanted it really badly, so I bought it on impulse. The boots were for a drama performance, and I've had them ever since.

@Beldin-I'll post a photo soon, and I'll also get a photo of the dagger I bought.

In the meantime here's one of the two samurai swords I own.
Thinking about it, my family's a bit of a worry, my mother has a 6" halberd mounted above the dinner table...

Here's the other katana. It's the biggest one of the three (I'm getting the pictures from the site I got my swords from). My mum's halberd is next. :)

hmm... tasty  - but having a mother with a 6-foot polearm  that's just unfair.

"Tidy your room."
"i'll do it later..."
"don't make me get the halberd!"

And this is me with my mum's halberd.

She has to catch me first. :D Besides, I live in a renovated train carriage, and "Go clean your carriage!" doesn't quite have the same ring of authority.

in fact it sounds like a euphemism - as in "go clean your 'carriage'" ;)

Shouldn't that be in AR's "Your mom"thread? I know I don't want to hear that sort of euphanism coming from my mum... :D

Good choice, Flanders (if a little predictable); how about a package deal with Julia Ann?
