thats a flaw in the games, if you fight or one of your allies fights a lightsaber with a "non-viro"sword it doesn't destroy them, the swords i mean, and viroswords are supposed to be extremely heave, it would take a muscle man to duel weld them, like some one who could lift 150 in each arm, so thats why they don't have it in stormtroopers armor, + even if it cant cut it, the material will still get supper headed and deliver a 2nt to 3rd degree burn, so armor wouldn't really help, would it?

In the films, they seem pretty hardcore. But you would have thought after 6000 years or whatever, they'd have leanrt how to build the stuff in vibroswords into stormtrooper armour...
no it didn't. idk where it originated from, but there was at least two mentions of cortosis in Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, which, if i'm not mistaken, was made before KotOR 1 was.

as to them looking hardcore in the films: i know it was due to lack of technology back in the 70s, but if you haven't noticed, there are a couple times when Luke's lightsaber doesn't actually cut through someone/something. for example, Jabba's sailbarge; at least one enemy appears to get knocked off of one of the transports by the lightsaber, but nothing as much as a burn mark is seen on him

i don't recall ever hearing that vibroswords are extremely heavy. all i remember for a description from anyone was Trask saying they're made using a cortosis weave, making them strong enough to withstand a lightsaber. i imagine other weapons would have been made like this as well.

on to the armor: if that were to have been done, the troops likely would have had some kind of an underlay to protect them from immediate burning. but supplying the Imperial army with a suit of cortosis armor for each trooper? good luck finding that much...

right and if you notice no stormtrooper survives a single blaster hit. that might be why. even if its in a non-lethal spot. there are always deaths,no injuries

wrong forum, but i'll answer anyway: no (or if there is, it's one ridiculous code, or has not yet been figured out). all i know of are unlimited health and ammo (and some others, but i didnt memorize them).

now, back to K3 shall we? :)

My idea

Well This is my first time posting here anyway but i have been reading through this forum and i have to say this. Black is the result of all light being absorbed. A black saber would be interesting and ultimately bad ass looking, just pointing that out.

As for the multi-coloured lightsaber i often saw this complaint being used. that there is only one light saber colour crystal. However i do not see why a jedi/sith can not use different crystal's in the same saber if it fits in the handle. Like they fused the crystals together so that when the light goes into them it would come out in a spectrum. Just an idea which might not work but i don't claim to be an expert in such matters.

As for new lightsabers to introduce to KOTOR 3 i would love if they add Guard shoto. Or Tonfa shaped. Guard shoto - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki

Also curved handled lightsabers like Dooku's would be perfect to spice things up.

I would also love the idea of choosing the colour of both sides of a double bladed lightsaber. There is really know reason why they can't as in most cases both are single lightsabers joined together. So each have there own lightsaber colour crystal.

Colours i would like to see... well i agree with the pick of a colour pallet at the start of the game where you choose your handle or type of lightsaber you would use. I believe that would be pretty sweet.

Agreed. In my opinion each blade should not only have their own color crystal, but also their own set of enhancement crystals.

That would

be quite interesting.

How bout as well for the Double lightsabers you could also choose the handle type so it be like Ventress?

And i am sorry for using bad spelling/grammar in my previous post >_<

Y i think u should have a mix of light blue an blood red. when you get almost full darkside it all turns red. when you get almost full lightside it turns all blue.

i agree, since if you have the 2-weapon fighting build, there's no point to double-bladed lightsaber except for looks, since 2 lightsabers can get more crystals, and as a result, more damage, than the doubleblade.

so yes, i fully, 100% agree

So

If the double bladed lightsaber gets twice the amount of upgradable parts, then why would people use the original single?

more of a chalenge maybe? or more realistic gamplay because most people wouldn't have a db lightsaber?
