When the Cat's Away, the Mice Shall Play

Ahhh! Now that DW is gone, I might as well help myself to a few drinks.

Hmmm...a fuzzy navel would be called for, eh?
Navels are a wondrous thing. One could wax philosophical on this centrally located part of the body, so conveniently near so many interesting areas...it once joined us to our mother in the womb, and appears (to me, at least) to hold everything together in one tiny little spot, like a button. The mystics pondered long over it, and the Hindus placed a chakra near it. Belly dancers flaunt it - and often place a jewel in it - utilizing the swaying of their hips in unison with their adorned navel to mesmerize their audience.
Sought after by eager eyes, the navel is an object of fixation to some. Yet for all of the importance placed upon it, I cannot help but think that, after we leave the womb, the navel only serves one real purpose in life - and that is to collect lint.
Yuck.
