As Magus is addressing Drakron, a messenger comes in, bearing a letter addressed to Magus. It reads:
My esteemed comrade Magus,

Well, well, how the intrigue thickens? Did you know that some scoundrel freed your precious Aerie from my clutches? She was on her way to you, but it seems someone else has gotten hold of her. So you have a choice: Save your precious beloved, or pursue me. Have a nice day, hahahahaha.

Drakron-No, I truly dont know what he is talking about.

Sidenote:30 figther /16 mage is O.K since its possible to get those levels but I still hold a few suprises, I tell you more when the time is right.Just dont go above 30 since that is the top level as a "normal" PC can get in a "normal" game(of couse if you are a Lich you can go even higher)

Magus grits his teeth in anger. Rarely in his life had his normally clear thinking mind become fogged, but this is one time that it did. While one couldn't detect it in his calm and inscrutable face, a mental battle of terrific proportions was waging in his mind. He had always put other's needs before his own, but how could he carry on tracking Weasel down when Aerie was missing, and possibly dead? Thoughts flood his mind for what seems like an eternity, but is actually only a moment.
Magus calmly looks up, and his eyes are set with determination.
Looking to Ubik:"Drakron has spoken, and I shall not be persuaded to demean him by interrogating him any further. I would love to stay and continue this fascinating verbal intrigue, but I've matters to attend. First the Shadow Thieves, and now this. Make your point quickly, and then I shall take my leave.

Sidenote: Magus hasn't shown the letter to anyone yet.

KidD01 exits the Copper C knowing this is not the place to be. The enemy is in full force and it looks like the spell has some how be lifted from Ubik. Gruntboy seems to be still under the spell. He knows Weasel is not going to be happy about this or is this more of Weasel twisted plan.He hurries to the sewer to report his findings.

We see Weasel sitting in his chair in the Lair. In comes Mekrath and nods to Weasel. (Weasel to his self 'Ah the note has been delivered now less see if that will break them up')

In to the Lair walk Minsc and Viconia . Minsc goes to his bed and drops down.Viconia heads to report to Weasel.

(Viconia)"My master I bring news."
(Weasel)"Ah Viconia you know we are equals. Now what have you all learned? And where is KidD01?"
(Viconia)"KidD01 should be on his way ,he stop off at the Copper C . There was a black horse with a rider come speeding thru the city gates and we followed as best we could. KidD01 figured they were headed to the Copper C so we drop by to see . He decided to go in alone and have me and Minsc report this to you.As for the other thing I believe we found it.When and if KidD01 gets here we will sit down and discuss it , if that's ok with you. We have been up two days solid to get back here."
(Weasel)"Yes that's ok get you some rest and when KidD01 gets here and rests then will discuss your findings"

Smiling at the pair's antics, Magus says to Drakron, "Will you be accompanying me, then? I would be pleased to continue our alliance. If so, we need to see Aran first, though it stresses me not to begin my search immediately. I'm afraid Aran isn't the patient type, and will make a pest of himself if we don't see him."

2hours later KidD01 staggers in to the Lair. He is in one bad mood (KidD01 talking to his self ' That dam black horse almost crushed me ' He strolls up to where Weasel is sitting....

Sidenote: Feel free to rejoin anytime, Alienbob. Where is your character (location)? And don't forget to read through the WHOLE thing! A lot has happened...there's at least 6 plots going on at once.

Aerie wakes up chained to a post in a ship's hold. She can faintly hear noises from above, and she determines that the ship she is in must not have left port yet. Desperately, she tries to think of a plan to escape, but suddenly a dark figure appears beside her. A rough, deep voice says "Nighty night," and she feels a stinging pain at her temple, then all is black...

"i think i am in some kind of catacombs or something. how i got here i have know idea. hmmmm....there some runes on the wall here, im going to check them out." our hero walks over to the runes. all of a sudden a bright light fills the room. our hero jumps back. "what the hell?" A huge dark shape steps through the portal. it smiles an evil smile and laughs a very evil laugh. "oh ****...um..help"
