No, it was beautiful, but we stayed at this massive resort thing (for my cousins wedding). We felt a bit too protected (and thus would sneak away from our shopping guides while downtown!)

You might just find something you need I think we didn't like that the hotel people would force us to go to certain shops because 'they'll take care of you' etc...usually highly overpriced shops. That's why we'd sneak away...
The swimming was fun! But, the open bar was better.
