The seventh FE game was the first that was released in English, and it's Japanese name is Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken

I played the first Fire Emblem released in the US then, on GB advance it was, which is what you're talking about. I didn't realize there had been a whole series of them in Japan before they made the leap across the Pacific.
