Why would they help? As long as the guys weren't starting trouble--within their narrow classification of what trouble constitutes--they can't do anything. And if they'd tried, they would have lost the money from those pockets, and that's all they really care about.

Umm...if there's these loudmouths causing trouble for customers, that's going to scare away more of their business, it's in their interest to move them along.

I am careful to pick pubs where this doesn't happen usually. I don't like it but I am a realist. But it is the festival here and that made all the difference. I am known in my locals and the staff are generally on it before trouble starts But it is hot and the music was outside, as were we. Very busy today.

It's final, my best friend is moving to Singapore.

Ahh, that's a shame...though I hear Singapore is a nice place.

I know some people who used to live in singapore, they liked it there, I think they were almost sad when they were transferred back to the states. Friend should have fun, and hey, even if you cant actually see them, and calling would be expensive, the internet is a wondrous tool of communication.

@Fiona only weak people start trouble at least in my eyes. You should have called their bluff and if they were actually down for fighting, you know to hit em' where it counts. Teach those boys a lesson.
