Well, in Babylonia, where my temples were regarded highly, we used to forgive anybody, but there were reparations. These could be either:

1) One night spent with a temple prostitute, or

2) Cutting off their right hand.

So, I'd say you have a choice to make.

In the case of some one who is left handed (me duh) cutting off my right hand is kind of useless and I really dont trust the prostitute.
