The country is great... in small doses.

Living out there for a long time, well that's a different story.

And Juni, thankfully I didn't have to pull out my memory removing device, as I had it off before it was seen :D . All's well that ends well.

Oh, now I understand completely what Fiona meant, I thought she was talking about it for another reason...

@ Juni. I have friends who live in a cottage in Galloway. Going to stay with them. Lovely part of the world.

@ DJV. I've never lived in the country but I have a soppy side which is truly convinced I would like to. It thinks I would like a garden as well. :D

What memory thing you talking about?

Edit. Scratch that last question. I'm slow today because I'm cooking and spamming ( not so good at the multi-tasking, me)

Edit again. How could you, DJ? *looks reproachful*

Oh, by all means enjoy it, I find it great too, however when you live out there for a while, it can become boring, and unlike what you are used to. And there's nothing wrong with having a garden, just as long as you are willing to spend many many hours setting it up :D .

The memory of them seeing the price, I managed to rip it off first though.

When do you leave for the country?

i have forgotten what we were talking about.... :D

I lived in the city for about 10 years....now live about 20 miles outside of the city....I almost miss it...almost.... :D

given our location now, is why our once fabbb-u--lous news years eve parties are a thing of the past.

Yeah, Kerry Packer, he passed away two nights ago, the public was told yesterday morning. He owned several things, including a tv network, but is most famous for not only being rich, but being one of the main founders of one day cricket.

It is reported he refused medicine and was still doing business deals up until a few hours from death.

As a side note, it's the fourth time he has been declared dead.

@Fiona, well good luck with that incase I don't see you, hope you enjoy it :) .

@Juni, I'm guessing in that case you live in the suburbs... If you do, I reckon that's the best place, because you're out of the city, but still close if you need it.

And I'm sure you make the party great :p .

Yeah, but you get used to it. I lived out there for a long time, and I found it great, however now that I am used to the suburbs, when I go back out there, I don't find it as interesting.

I'm sure if I satyed there for a long time, I would like it, but for now, I'm not into it.

Just out of interest, where did you get your avatar from... I think I know the game.

Ooo sounds yummy :D .

There's one thing I can't stand about New Years. I'm all for fireworks, and love seeing them in real, but I can't watch them on tv... it's just not right. As such, I can never have those stupid New Years shows on... if I want fireworks, I'll go see some. :)

It's reassuring to know I am not the only one :D .
