Hmm...I've been advised to stay off th wine and find cider...or try Bacardi and Coke. Apparently this stuff is in the house...
And otherwise, maybe Vodka and Coke or Heineken...
Night Juni!
Bacardi and Coke man! It's the way to go. I'd say 4 parts Coke to 1 part rum to start if you aren't used to drinking often. I generally go with a 50/50 mix, but most people say it tastes like rum with food coloring and carbonation.

@Chu, I don't know whether to be grateful that you never settle on an idea.
@Mag, I don't like Coke much, so I'll look into the cider first off.
Night Juni!
*goes in search of cider* Found it!
Didn't see the Bacardi though.

Yeeeeeah. That's one word for it.

Hmm, did you find the vodka with the cider?

That may mix fairly well. I'm not sure though.
You know what, I saw something I thought was idiotic in MSN, and because I'm bored...had to check it out. Those stupid things for dating says there's "5 women every guy should date!" and I've dated every one of them. Good advice, to be perfectly honest.

Ravager, one word of advice ( with all due respect to Magrus) DO NOT MIX CIDER WITH ANY OTHER ALCOHOL. It is a seriously bad idea.

There's no vodka in the house.
When I mentioned Vodka + Coke and Heineken, I just meant I'd been told that people around my age apparently drink that stuff in pubs.
As for the cider, it's alright, but I could never stand fizzy drinks of any kind. Don't know why.
@Fiona, heh, I wasn't planning to. I don't really like cider anyway.
Out of curiosity...why not?

Heh, this is true. I forgot I've got a much better stomach at handling a number of things that would make others sick.

I may get physically ill when eating a large number of foods, but those that I happen to enjoy tend not to bother me in the least. Thanks Fiona.
What else might you have in your place that isn't alcoholic? Any orange juice? That works wonders with vodka.
No vodka? No bacardi? This is sad. I'm depressed, and I have booze.

@ Ravager. As Magrus says, it makes you sick. Really sick. I don't know why.

Well, there's lager, whisky, wine, Guiness and this cider as far as I know. Other than that there's a bunch of cordial drinks, there may be more stuff I'm not aware of.
There probably is Bacardi around, I didn't search that much. If it was worth it I guess I could find it...
@Fiona, thanks for pointing it out.

Is the cider alcoholic Rav?
I believe it has to do with the fact the alcohol will make it go sour. I'm not entirely sure. I'm one of the few people that can handle some of my drink mixes to be perfectly honest. I've thrown together some very odd things and others have been sick while I've been fine. Cider and rum was one of those.

Yep. 5.3% volume. Not quite as alcoholic as the wine...but it's a start.
I'll just have a look and see what non-alcoholic drinks are around too. Fizzy Lemon, fizzy apple drinks, Diet Coke, some Cordial (you pour a small amount and add a load of water to dilute it normally) - blackcurrant, peach and some other flavours.
I think that's about it.

It's a good way to start. Keep in mind, mixing different types of alcoholic beverages can make you sick too. If you start drinking the cider, and move to something else, it might ruin your night.
Meh, I need to work on my game tonight if my mother doesn't interrupt me with innane questions.

Hmm, I'll stick to the cider and try to finish the can. Yeah, I don't like it much.
I'll work on my Prestige Races idea...

Ravager, if you started on the cider stick with it.
But if you have lager and you normally drink cordial, lager and lime is not a bad place to start

That's no fun with the cider.
We're working on getting enough done to playtest a fight and see if the balances are right so far tonight. If we get everything done in time.

It's a lot of little things all piled together. I think we'll do a wizard vs. a kobold to start. Should be fun!

@Fiona, I'll try.
It's just my distaste for anything fizzy.
Not that Guiness was any better, that just tasted foul.
Yeah, I think the lager and lime thing was suggested.
I wasn't going to try any different alcool today anyway.
Apparently there will be some big outing where I get to test lots of different drinks and find out what I do like at some point.
@Mag, I'll try and set up a character for myself on that if I'll have the opportunity to try it soon.
Maybe a dual-wielding Slaad.
A wizard vs. a kobold? Should be over quick.
