thank you georgi and yshania for joining jennabard in admitting that we are all geeks.
No problemo! I would not let anyone consider otherwise ;)

And what about how beautiful i looked.....*glances at the mirror* OK so i ain't exactly an blonde adonis
*Ysh looks in HER mirror. You are right - no blonde Adonis staring back ;)

@Ysh: You certainly did right to take a day off. And I appreciate your support here yesterday immensely. I've also been thinking about Fable. Imagine what he and his wife must feel like - going to Budapest for a long awaited holiday, and then sitting there far away from family and friends, perhaps trying to find out what has happened to people they know
Thank you - and I appreciated yours too :) I cannot start to comprehend Fable's thoughts and frustrations...even if he has no friends or family involved - and with no disrespect - he would have so much to say -hopefully he will not have to bump topics to say it :(

Has anyone heard from Eminem? He lives in DC, the whole city must be a chaos...
Sadly no. And regards to you for considering him despite your differences... :(

@Georgi: :D How are you, btw?

@JB: There has been much less reports from DC than NY, of course. But it's good that the attacked places are up and running as soon as possible - it minimizes the damage. :(

:( Hope he's OK. Even if it might not seem so, I actually like Eminem. (I would care for him even if I don't liked him, but I actually do). I like a hot debate with a skilled opponent, and it's very interesting to discuss with someone who's your total opposite :)

@c elegans- well govt. workers tend to be very pragmatic. even though the nyc had the most destruction, i can't help but feel that people in general tend to dismiss the lives of service men and women as well as all forms of govt. workers as something that is to be expected.

we are expected to give up our lives. so govt. workers will never get the same coverage as a civilians in the media. but in a way that is how it should be. it is a duty to protect to serve. all those soldiers, police officials, firemen.

i better stop. this is suppose to be a lighter thread. i'm sorry. :(

I know...nice to see concern anyway - generally and genuinely - despite our differences, we are all here for the same thing... :)

@DP - I am glad you are here with your quiet pint. Your lurking company is reassuring :) You know just when to drop in :)

*Ysh votes on DP having one of the best hugs on this board* ;) :)
