A potted plant might look nice in Mysteria's room. :D

Is Fang licking his chops? Why is he staring at the chicken like that?
LMAO, actually I was wondering if it wouldn't be fun to turn Aegis back almost elven, but not quite *evil grin*

About the Abomination, I wonder what my magic would do to it? Turn it blue perhaps? Or inflate it even more?

Hopefully, I'll have a bit better grip on my magic by then .. :D

You should check the Fae thread, and see what the poor man had to endure in there! ;) :D

What is a Gibbering Mouther?

Hmm IIRC (I still need to check) it's a monster. Its an amorphous blob with myriad eyes and mouths. It babbles constantly causing either confusion or insanity (can't remember which)

Hmmmm. Confusion wouldn't bother Gwally!

IIRC, that was one of the monsters introduced in the last AD&D series (of 4 modules) of the Slaver's Series: Slave Pits of the Undercity, Aerie of the Slave Lords, etc.

If not, then it must be in the other series of modules that involved a setting similar to that of the Ancient Incas/Mayas(?). These modules where circa early 80's.

LOL That's where I was remembering it from..I know the giant sundew was in the Slaver series and those odd ant men. I think the mouther was a different series..The Shrine of Tamoachan (sp?) and those maybe..It's been far too long though :D
On a related note I looked it up in the 3rd ed. and the mouther causes confusion :D

Can we back up a bit?...

I feel that morning has come WAY too quickly. For the sake of the story, the confrontations with the Abomination and the SM have got to take place at night. It's simply creepier that way; in addition, as everyone knows and I'm sure will agree, the Dark Powers are at their best during the night hours. This will make for a much more thrilling battle.

Everyone still has lots to work out with their characters and the characters' actions. Everything has to come to a head at once, so let's hold back and wait for the others, know what I mean?.....It's good to see eagerness in a writer, but we also need to cooperate, and running off ahead of everyone else is not beneficial to the storyline. So can we all please think of the good of the story above all else? That's how it got this far to begin with.

Thanks :)

I'm with you on this one DD

DD, I concur. BTW, Maharlika woke up in the middle of the night. Obviously he just couldn't get a decent sleep knowing god-knows-where-in-Timbuktoo he is.

@everyall ;) :To address DD's concern as mentioned, how do we go about this. I was actually reluctant to add to the thread hoping that when Maharlika wakes up in the middle of the night, he'd get to see some decent action.

@T'lainya: That's right, I remember that module The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan. :) It's the brown module with this vampire inca thing hacking an adventurer. The art was by Erol Otus (whose works weren't my fave - I prefer the guy who drew the first three Slaver modules - couldn't remember his name.)

@Bloody: *clangs mugs with him in agreement* Sensei, that lady DOES KNOW her Be. She knows what she wants, she gets what she wants - and perhaps even more. But really, DW, that was some artistic way of relating things without errrr... sounding too *place appropriate adjective here* :)
