Looks like it's my turn to ask if I was out of line. ;) What do you think, Azmodan? Anything glaringly wrong in my portrayal? Do you mind me taking your character's perspective to further my own ends?

It's 30 C degrees here...
but hopefully I get some writing and homework done tonight. :)

I have a bit of a noise problem myself. It gets to the point where I can hardly think straight for all the drunken raucous around me. Rob-hin, you live in Europe, right? I hear that binge drinking is almost unheard of there. How I envy you...

You mean that you heart that in Europe we have few parties where we get drunk?
Thats the first time I've heard that! :D

Parties are perhaps fewer here then in the USA, but I don't know how many you have. IMO, we have plenty. :D
Every saturday night, it's off to the bar or disco we go. But since beer prices rose a lott lately, getting drunk happens few these day. But that could also be me growing up. ;)

Besides, we can get drunk legally from 16 years of age. :p
Lets just say I've been drunk more times then I can remeber. :D
I've been tipsy twice this week, but that doesn't happen every week. :D

Well at least you go to the bars and don't stockpile it in your rooms...and break it out for spontaneous drunken orgies--in spite of the roommate who is desperately trying to study for an exam the next day.

I'm sorry, I'm just completely fed up with classes, people...everything right now. I just want it to all be over so I can go home and lock myself in a room, where I can finally get some solitude for a change. (sigh)

Anyway...I've been told that drinking is much more responsible in Europe, so what you say really surprises me.

Well, I can only speak about what I know.
But most people do drink responsibly, parties like in the movies (porkies etc) don't happen here. You are right about that.

On the other hand, there are parties out there, were specific bands come and play and it's all about beer. Drinking untill you drop and beer flying through the air. These parties are a regional thing though, I don't think they do it in other parts of the country.

But since I've never been to the USA and you never came to Holland, it's hard to compare. :) But in general, my impression is that there is havyer drinking there, espacially with student dorm rooms and all since we don't have that. We have to find our own rooms if we want to live closer to school. People who do that drink a lott more then me thats for sure.

I feel for you man, I'm fed up with school too. But I still live at home (and don't plan to leave soon ;) ) so I have my privacy. I just want to start working and making money. I hate these stupid projects, but only 4 hours of class is pretty cool too! :D

Yet people still drink to get drunk in Europe, eh? I guess I'll still have to dispose with my pretty misconception, then. So idealistic, that fire of youth...

As for working, I'm sure in no hurry to do that. As long as the school is paying the tuition, I'm in no rush to move out on my own. ;) School life can be the pits sometimes, but it's still better than the uncertainty of change...

*His mood darkens*

Could I support myself in the hectic chaos of the modern world? I'm not so sure...

Alas, all the world is a stage, and all its people--actors. Sometimes it seems mine own life is some whimsical tale, and I am author, protagonist, and detached reader...all at once.

Sorry, that was sort of odd. That kind of stuff belongs more in the Speak Your Mind forum, I'd wager. I'll cease my itinerant ramblings. :)

Well, since you are KO again.

Hmm...Azmodan doesn't seem to be around. If I don't hear from her tomorrow, I'll probably just go ahead and post. I've promised myself I'd post at least once a week. ;)
