well, i havent used that poison ability that much, maybe it will make some difference. But if you dual to a mage at say level 10, you will have nearly the thac0 of a mage, and it wont improve as you level. (i think)

My assassin is getting better and better, and sometimes he even hits at once, without retrying 3 or 4 times.
he's becoming really powerful though.
:D :D :D :D
Ill try to reach the cap asap.

I have a 10/? kensai mage, and the spells i use the most are stoneskin and sometimes fireball, to make a few quick kills or lower their HP. Most of the time it ends with some hack and slash (CF and Dakkon zerth's blade) He seems invincible! (btw i havent released my familiar since irenicus dungeon)
With an assassin/mage you have to use more spells to kill most of the enemies, because if you try to engage them in melee, you get yourself killed in secs. Not really my style of playing. Correct me if i'm wrong. :D

Can anyone tell me what the thac0 of an assassin at the exp cap is? (w/ items)

you are correct that melee combat is harder with a theif than with a fighter, that is how it should be. one of the good things abotu dualign to a mage is how fast you can go up in levels due to memorizing scrolls.

I can’t wait to see the look on your face when agents of the Shadow Guild smuggle an orca into your pool and the mages make him invisible! MUWHAHAHAHAHA!!! :D :D :D

I'm just praying that no more freak blizzards mire my summer this year. :( Usually it’s great, what with round the clock sunlight and all. DAMN YOU OLD MAN WINTER!!!
