"Once we had a medallion that made your fists seem like iron. It was quite expensive, but was stolen recently. I ask that you
search down the suspects, "Grimgnaw, Fernliea, and Vanek." Grimgnaw has always quested for power. Anything he can get that
gives him more power, he would possibly do, no matter the concequences. Fernliea has always had a hatred for me in this
school. Though she didn't say it, it showed. Easily. She could possibly have a grudge against me since I beat her the
first time in combat and want to take the amulet and get revenge. Vanek is a jack of all trades. He cares a little for
profits more than martial arts and discipline. I ask that you bring whoever neccessary in her to help you search for the
thief or thieves if it was more than 1. You will be rewarded a handsome amount of platinum and 2 weeks worth of training
here for free. I'll give you 1 week and half if you just find the medallion. The other half if you find out who stole it
and report him or her to me. The medallion has a golden chain with a small red disc around it and in the center is a symbol
of this monestary."

"Students stole from the monestary? I can't abide stealing! I shall help of course. Was there anything else I should know before starting out to find what information I can?"

(All in all, there are about 30 others. Meaning diplomacy and gather info checks could be made 30 times.)

This is what the requirements are

start a bar fight because you hate a person, then you will be punished and banned from this

"Second, you have to heal a patient of ours without using magick as your initiation test. We will
give you all the supplies you need, but no potionsm, wands, staves, or spells."

"Thank you Master, I shall start at once, I may bring some friends in with me to assist in the event we find someone to bring them to you."

Magrus bows and walks away and ponders where to start near the entrance to the monasty, looking around him to see who's around.

"This, I can swear. That, I can do. Show me the patient, and tell me of the dissease."

Magrus-

No one is around at the moment. You do know that Dosker is a good tracker for the city as well as the wilderness.


Oskatat-

They take you to the patient. He apparently has a disease from a rat. They don't know exactly what it is, but are thinking of calling it Rabies. Roll your heal check with a +2 bonus to the equipment they give you.

Magrus will head off to find Dosker and discuss this with him.

Roll 1d20+2: 20 total. skill mod = +7
20 + 7 = 27

(wow, first roll and imediately high, lets keep it that way)

Dosker tells you that he can help for a quarter of the profit.

"I may be your friend and all, but I do charge. However, that is why it is so small. I usually charge half."

Oskatat-

You heal the patient almost immediatly.

"Nicely done," they say and then welcome you to the guild.

The rolls that went on last night were strange. There was very little middle ground, either horrible or excellent for the most part.

Magrus says "Thank you Dosker, I appreciate it." I fill him in on what Master said and see what his take on the matter is for how to track those three down.

"Your welcome. It is nothing more than I should do."

Oskatat stands up from the kneeling position he took beside the bed.
He touches the sword hilt hanging at his hip

"After all, the hand that destroys is the hand that protects."

You come across a person that tells you some info.

I know I saw Grimgnaw yesterday near the hall of equipment. That is usually where the magic items and weapons are kept for safe keeping. I walked past him and I am pretty sure that he went in. I did see Fernliea with a new necklace around her neck. It had the gold chain like the medallion. I also saw her with a tense look about her. Vanek had a necklace while he was summing up our budget, but it didn't have the red spots.

Oskatat-

"I am grateful. I will have some duty for you later. Check back in a couple of hours. You have that time to yourself."

"Dosker, if Vanek is involved with this, we can question him. If he isn't he could prove useful if he can be bought. Someone who stole something, and was good at it, wouldn't show they're nervous and would just go about their daily business and not let anyone see them. I say we start there."

ooooooh, time for myself. Wait. No bar fights, right? yuck

I head for the fighters guild to find Dosker

Alright, we'll start there.

As you find Vanek he starts talking.

"You here to question me too," he asks.

Dosker is not at the guild. They do not know where he is right now.

"Vanek, yes, I'd like to talk to you. Would you care to do it over a meal away from here? It could be worth something for you."

I head for the monastry, but I am not as rude to simply demand entrance. I wait a few minutes to see if someone is interested in my motivation for waiting there, then I head off. If so, I start to search for some kind of community centre/pub/bar/inn

Magrus-

"Sure, I need a break anyway," he says as he puts the gold down.

As you lead him to the nearest Pub/resturant like place, he asks you when you get ther while your waiting on food what you need.
