No. I detest Football Manager.

Dominions 3. Finally bought it.

Well, each to their own. Which games do you really enjoy then, other than FPSes?

Is this game actually working for you??.. I've had several ppl say the big prob w/ it's the immense lag on it practically making it unplayable. I was thinkin bout getting it today, but Im still sorta deciding between it, The Witcher or a couple of the Heroes Chonicles games (must order to get)...and maybe BG2 since i doubt we have it.

Of course it is, otherwise I wouldn't be playing it. Lag is not a problem for me because I have a very, very, very good computer. I got the game from a friend. His computer is not as good as mine, so he had a little lag, but it was pretty much okay. So I don't know what this lag issue is. Maybe it's because there is a lot of lag on some other versions but not on mine. (my version is 1.0)

Well, I do play games from other genres aside from FPSes. I don't have a personal 'favourite'. ;) If you look at page 3 and onwards of this thread, you'll see the games that I've played and enjoyed. :D

X3 reunion. I'm constantly restarting though. There's a lot of statistics in this game and that's something I get off on. I'll be back on my regular RPG binge in two years.

SHTUP and Rebirth mods for visuals, ADaoB for some game fixes and some other mods relating to new skins on weapons. I got them all from some site called StrangeBedFellows (I have no idea why was the site named like this). As for the installation, I pretty much followed the instructions I found while searching the net (link).

Well I have been playing Hearts of Iron 2 (an RTS of WWII), until tonight. I played HOI 1, and whilst it had some severe faults it wasn't a bad first attempt, and I'd hoped that the sequel would iron out some of the faults and be a good game. Unfortunately not only has the sequel not ironed out the faults, it's actually added new ones, and exacerbated the existing ones. The biggest fault is that the designers seem to have a very strange view of the history of WWII, in fact whilst they demonstrate some knowledge about some things, they are desperately off with other things. They have Turkey joining the Allies in early '40 on a regular basis, the USSR declares war on Germany on April 1st 1940 in nearly every game, the fact that it's always April 1st makes me wonder if the whole game's some sort of bad joke actually.

In short it's a very, very bad game, leave well alone.

Right now, I'm playing Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Resident Evil 4 (PC version).

Update 28/04/08: I have to download quite a few mods just to get a better playing experience from Resident Evil 4 (the mouse aim mod and the enhanced graphisc pack to name a few). Not a very good port job but hey, what can one expect from a console-oriented developer anyway?

Well on the PC I'm playing M2TW (Hotseat games by email) and Civ IV PBEM's and Pitboss (which is excellent but only if you have patience), LOTRO (and WoW now and then), Football Manager 2008 and EU: Rome.

On the 360 I just went back to Fable (the Xbox original of course) and just got GTA 4 both of which games have taken me away from Overlord which I'd gotten addicted to after finding it cheap on Amazon.

Without having much time on my hands, I am playing some rather relaxing, action-based games: Aliens vs. Predator 2 (okay, not very relaxing, but at least I can play it effectively for an hour or so without reading through tons of text) and Dungeon Siege 2 (nice graphics, incredible interface and surprisingly, a lot of fun - the reviews aren't doing it good IMO).
