Buck demoted Rav and Luis to being members again.slade wrote:greg do tell do tell....I have missed a lot since the last time I was here....what has happened??
what!! rav demoted.......this is why I didnt even think twice about asking to be a mod a long time ago when I was frequent.....I socialize to much with the members and I would definately only last as a mod for an hour before I was demoted by a haterGregtheSleeper wrote:Buck demoted Rav and Luis to being members again.
Apparently this was done without telling them. The reason for this I don't know.
It seems to be either - they are too 'chummy' with members, or it could be due to them speaking against the post limit...
I don't know any facts... Maybe ML's mods News anchor man can help...
...didnt you already know.... :laugh:slade wrote:*blushes* and starts figeting with his fingers...........say you'll be mine.....
Jumping to conclusions is never a good thing to do to when forming opinions.slade wrote:thanks...I just got updated now

Opinions are formed regardless......of course one should take all things into consideration, I understand what you are saying..but...really, Xan...people are people, it happens.Xandax wrote:Jumping to conclusions is never a good thing to do to when forming opinions.
I know it happens, that is very "people-ish".Juniper wrote:Opinions are formed regardless......of course one should take all things into consideration, I understand what you are saying..but...really, Xan...people are people, it happens.

I wasnt saying anything about hear say, just what one of the people involved spoke to me about thats all. I dont wish to continue this discussion anymore as it has no purpose or meaning to anyone here.Xandax wrote:I know it happens, that is very "people-ish".
But perhaps judge that when one doesn't know all the facts, then the conclusion should be just that, and not take all hearsay, second hand information or otherwise clouded information as pure and undisputed facts.
There is always more then one side to any story.
True enough - I was also attempting to speak more in general terms then to you (or Juniper) directly. Wasn't trying to pin anything to youslade wrote:I wasnt saying anything about hear say, just what one of the people involved spoke to me about thats all. I know this was to Xandax, but just a general comment: if people just repeat what is being said to them without considering the reliability and the limits of the source of information they may end up just uncritically believing in what is fed to them.slade wrote:@Xandax, not jumping to anyone conclusions, just repeating what was said to me thats all...
No, there is no such norm. You may not believe this since you haven't seen it, but all of the present SYM mods were once heavily involved in social threads (yes, Xandax too although he denies it nowadays ). T' used to frequent the bar threads and scare the guys with her whip, Mahar used to light up everyone's life with his lampshade of COMMunication, Fable used to participate in all discussions possible and as I said, even Xandax used to hang out in the pub threads.*sigh* I assume moderators are expected to be antisocial and not expected to actually associate themselves with everyone else..too often
I think quite many of us left our brains at the door when we entered the world of spam threads of SYM :laugh:Xandax wrote:What sanity? - I checked that at the door the day SYM was created .... if only I could remember which door.
Of course you did, that's the toll you paid to me :devil:Kipi wrote:I think quite many of us left our brains at the door when we entered the world of spam threads of SYM
Hey - I only left my sanity not my brain. I still have that .... ehh - somewhere.Kipi wrote:I think quite many of us left our brains at the door when we entered the world of spam threads of SYM
