Yes Sleep i'm well aware of who McGuyver is .. WE did get the tv series over here suprising as that may seem
and Stargate too ... he goes by the name richard dean anderson IRL IIRC

For some reason I remember a particular episode where he made explosives from bamboo and swamp gas...

I remember that episode, as well as the time he used a rifle to keep the trip wire of a trap pulled taut while he crawled under so he could go save the pretty lady from Murdok(sp?).

Lets face it McGuyver had everything, Mullet Hair cut, Denim jacket, Skills with Hotwiring and general tomfoolery. He even made the ladies swoon, he was the ultimate equipped action man

Hmmm...I guess it must have been funny Not the last time, but the time before, we had a m/bike nicked they had tried to hot wire it. They succeeded in cutting through the main wiring loom before they got it started.

Now logic says if you want to hot wire you cut through the ignition wires...

As a result of their inability to properly nick a bike and dump it, we had the oil light permanently on, indicators down one side did not work, the petrol light never came on...and the rest.

Fiddling with the throttle to start a bike? Trust me IT DOES NOT WORK!...

My bike habitually did not start, regardless of how you played the throttle...

@Ysh Ahh but McGuyver wouldn't have had a problem

That sounds more like what he'd do to the ladies, if he weren't such a gentlemen.

I like the time he used a plant as an antenna for a radio, with the help of a very intelligent cute girl.
