Where did you move to Lestat? How do you make that decision?
@ Chim. No I don't see a problem with a rising divorce rate at all.
I said that position 3 was the problem, not the issue itself. You, not endorsing gay marriage. Tsk. Where's the disappointed emote?
There are usually 2 normal and 1 wacky option (or at least that's how I judge it) and I think that in this case option 2 was the wacky one. In view of the conservative states out there it wouldn't surprise me that quite a lot of people actually chose 1.

And now I got a request to endorse the leader of the pacific region (he endorsed me and requires me to do the same)... I think I'm gonna move regions, for one reason or another this pierconum doesn't strike me as a nice fellow.
Yeah, that smacks of quid pro quo. I'd never do that, and if someone asked it of me, I'd tell them what I think of them. I wouldn't make a good politician. But vote for me, because as Grand High Imperial King, I will eliminate the need for politics altogether, and that sort of "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" behavior will disappear.

I followed scardale (Tony?) The leader there is a "civic rights lovefest" (so close in political opinion) and seems a bit more OK. And it's a small community, might be nice.

Nah. Position 3, like the others, was a purported solution to a non-existent problem. "Someone who will do the right thing for the wrong reason will also do the wrong thing for the same reason" This not good

It's politics though.

Sadly I must concur. But it doesn't have to be like that. :p

And loud voices will be raised at any political decision made.

LoL, Fiona, this game has too much of the real world in it (specifically, every user on there) to allow you to divorce yourself so thoroughly.

We'll see. It works in real life!
Sadly I must concur. But it doesn't have to be like that. :p
FEBI: this originally read: I don't have to live the real world if I don't want to. :p :o :D

Which was far funnier (not really intended maybe, but still)

You are correct Lestat. But the first thought is encompassed in the second from a certain point of view. Not mine though :p

Time for me to mosey. A friend asked me last night to have a drink with her tonight, and I've turned down a date with someone I really like tonight to do this. :( But she was just in a minor car accident today and it would be more than simply "bad form" of me to back out of a drink now. :( :(

Think of it as community service and strengthening the social tissue. :p

Have fun nonetheless.

Social tissue? Things are worse than I thought :speech:
Social tissue? Things are worse than I thought :speech:
Not tissue as in "snot receptacle" but tissue as in "group of cells joined in a common purpose" :p

Is that a direct translation from Dutch or French?
Is that a direct translation from Dutch or French?
Yes... :o (fabric might have been more correct I realise now, original word is "weefsel" which might mean fabric (something that is woven) as well as tissue (as group of cells))
