The point was '

', which was said after telling him not to do it... unless I'm missing something

.
Well, if you are, so am I. I'm completely lost by now.
Oh, and Rav, I've made a new siggy/piccy thingy.
The avatar? Very nice. Twirly elf/leprechaun thing.
Maybe you should put it on a transparent background, then it would be even better.

@ Mag. You have to listen to the words next time

Ahhh, no, not the avatar, I just flogged that from a game.
I meant one of the pics you put at the bottom, here, I'll put the link in:
Here
The text is a bit dodgy, but oh well.
And I was thinking about transparent, but it means I have to go through the frames, oh well, I'll see how it looks.

Very nice!
Sorry if I don't spam much, I'm studying Ik's map.

Yes Miss Fiona. Right away Miss Fiona.
I don't see her very often, which is a shame too. She's hilarious.

@DJV, Nice sig banner.
How do you do those borders? Those are nice.
Hmm. I use a program that applies the transparency to all the frames at once, though sometimes you get a 'halo' effect around a picture if you reduce the size of it.

Sorry, Magrus. In case you missed it, I like folk music. Lots

Thanks for the comments guys, and Hill, good luck with the map

.
@ Rav: Well, I use Photoshop, and I know (and have made) a rather good tutorial about making those 3d borders. Perhaps if you used that I could let you know?

I have noticed.

Irish folk music is one of the few kinds of folk music I enjoy. I should pester my grandmother to send her sister over to perform for me on my birthday.

Ahh, thought it might be Photoshop. I don't have that unfortunately, though I might get it in the future.
Nice transparency on the avatr.

Well I've updated the avatar, but there is still a white bit appearing sometimes between his legs, so it looks like I have to fix that up.
And I just realised how bad that sounds... oh well, pervert away

.
EDIT: Avatar fixed.
Double Edit: (didn't see Rav's post) well what program do you use, I might be able to figure something out if I have it?

I use Fireworks mostly. It's not that great, but it's enough most of the time.

by dj_venom
Hmmm I have that somewhere.
I guess that would be useful because it would be highly compatible with Flash, which would help you make the fire engines

.
Well I'm going to find out what I can do to get a border like that with Fireworks.

@DJV, Well...yeah. Except those emergency vehicles were just cut out from photos and then animated using Flash. And yeah, I got Flash and Fireworks at the same time.
Good luck with finding a border. And thanks for your time with it.

Yeah, I knew they were cut, but still, never underestimate the power of a home-made firetruck

.
That's alright, happy to help, though I may be asking you a few questions...
Firstly, is there a way to do settings on a layer, such as dropping shadows or adding glows?

by Ravager
@DJV, Yeah, well I guess I don't have that much confidence in my drawing skill.
I did draw the houses in my anim though.
Yeah, you can select a picture and under the right side of the Properties bar at the bottom of the screen there should be a Filters option. That has most of the possibilities like shadows, glows etc.
Or there is the Commands Menu and the options through there.

Phew, found that, now I need to keep going.

Well, the only thing I've found close to it in Fireowrks is creating a rectangle with a clear centre and thick line around the edge.

Yeah, well I'm making progress, it won't be as good as the other one (partly because I'm rushing just to test this) however it should look alright if I can pull it off.
I'm on the 'fun' stage of removing all the small pieces.
