Juni, where do you think you'll go on vacation?
Our plans have not worked out so far. We were going to watch the shuttle lift off and then do Disney, but couldn't arrange it--no rooms. We are still planning to go to Florida, but don't have a date set.

Long distance vacations are nice, unless you're just going to meet family. But mine wasn't all that bad.... at least we weren't visiting my mother-in-law.

You know, Dar, one of these days you are going to understand your MIL's flaws and see her for the wonderful person she truly is.
Nah, probably not! Oh well!

Hmmm....
1. She's clinically diagnosed (by my wife) as borderline personality disorder
2. She's chased my wife with a knife (when 9 years old)
3. She's thrown a book at my wife breaking her arm (when 12 years old)
4. She causes my wife (even to this day) to break down in tears about 75% of the time they speak
5. She told all her neighbors that my wife was sleeping with the whole football team (in high school)
I don't think I'll be finding any qualities redeeming enough.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of her. But luckily my wife is even less fond of her, so I don't feel so bad.

Nah, you need wire coat hangers to make a film out of it.
@ Ravvit: How goes the scripting?
I have run into a creative lull.

Only coat hangers?
Uhh...I haven't really tried it since I bought tQ and B&W2...I really have to force myself into doing some of it...at least for the sake of my final year University project...

@dar No worries, you aren't the only family with problems

Yes, but how many other families have knife-wielding maniacs in them? Aside from mine, but FYI, I was drunk at the time.

Our family features two gun-wielders, fortunately they've never been pointed at me, and they've both been medicated since then!! But no one wields knives, hmmmm!

Lemme just put it this way: my family motto has always been "Insanity doesn't run in this family; it walks."

Well we live 2,000 miles away from her so other than the occasion phone call (3 times a week, picked up once a week at most) or the annual vacation out there, we don't have to deal with her.
