After a bit of a struggle...
Brynnlaw is a pirate island found in BG2: SoA. It is also the island where the Asylum is located, where you are obligated to go. It is the coolest place to go in Baldurs Gate.

Ilmater is a god in D&D and used in BG and IWD. Im not sure of his powers/abilities, and I dont feel like looking it up at the moment (sorry, my school work is getting in the way a little bit). Typically neutral people follow this god, and you can find temples devoted to the god everywhere. And in Kayless' DCI, a classic moment happened when Castor ran into Ilmater's witnesses...hilarious.
