This has been an absolute nightmare, all because Tom Waits is a weird dude. All his ticket sales have to be picked up the night of the concert at will call and you can't buy more than two. I didn't think this would be a problem till I'm racing against Ticketmaster's clock to put my information in (two tickets, lower balcony) and am forced to check the box "International Will Call" under delivery methods. Because it's international will call, as I'm putting my personal information in, I notice that 'United States' is not an option in the 'country' box (it's international i guess) and don't know what to do. I eventually decide on 'United states outlying islands' but this little stumble has caused me to lose my tickets... Oh well, back to home page and try again. I do it again, two ticket, etc., now I'm putting the credit card info in. I put it in and the system says 'Ticketmaster already has this credit card in your account, please enter a new credit card'. Hmmm. I had put the credit card into my Ticketmaster account beforehand so something like this won't happen and I wonder why in the hell I can't use it if it's already in the system (because it seems quite pointless to bother putting a credit card into the system if they won't let me use it), but I run downstairs anyways and get a new one. By the time I get back, you guessed it, I'm out of time. Hmmm. Ok, try again. Except now there 'aren't any tickets available at this time'. Hmmmm. I let out a feral cry of rage that gets my dog barking. I try it again, this time for one ticket and find one in a surprisingly good spot, and this time the option for 'standard delivery mail' comes up under delivery options. I'm again confused, but I go with that because I'm intrigued by the option of getting to skip will-call and having to do research on my 'united states outlying island' of choice so I go with that and everything goes fine, in fact now I don't even have to type my account info in again (it seems they were able to locate it this time). At this moment I'm trying to get threough to the ticketmaster help line to figure out if my ticket is coming in the mail, if I have to pick it up like I thought I did, or if I really have a ticket at all.
I don't know if I even want to see the bastard anymore.

I'm having a crappy morning too![/QUOTE]
I'm sorry to hear that ... Care to elaborate?
As for the concert, it's at the Detroit Opera House and I think the only one he's doing. He did one in seattle two years ago out of the blue, but he's really weird. He never goes on tours, doesn't announce the concerts at all... I've been so excited about this, I've been up for the past two hours waiting for the clock to strike ten, and then that all happened. Le sigh.

Well, it wouldn't work to make it two syllables and call her Juni, since that would alter the song irrevocably.
Tony: you can print out the information if you have bought the ticket at ticketmaster; at least, I remember doing that once. You can go to the venue and show them that and from the confirmation number, the people giving out the tickets will know you already bought one and give you it. I think.
General: "Those aren't ideas; those are special effects."
Michael Bay: "I don't understand the difference."

*nods* I have it printed out and was going to do exactly that unless I do recieve the thing in the mail between now and 8/11. I've never really done a will-call before because I usually go out of my way to get the tickets in my hands as fast as humanly possible because I worry about them otherwise... This time is no exception. Thanks for saying as much, you have no idea how reassuring that was . That's going to be a huge f-ing line to wait in though...
