@ Ravager.

I have fought TWO wars today and given you a nice toad to lick. Are you never satisfied?

Slavedriver

@Chu, I'm a bit bored too. Just setting up another banner sig...

@Fiona, I appreciate all you have done...even if I'm not so much a fan of toad licking. :p

Uhmmm, is Rav supposed to get satisfaction from licking a toad? Isn't it the toad that is supposed to get satisfaction from that. :p

*grumbles* Doesn't like cider last night; not much of a fan of toad licking today; gets out of hell by mere teleporting. Man doesn't know when he's well off, in my opinion :p

@ Hill. Er thanks. I just noticed

@ Lestat. It's usually better for the licker, but it's a win/win situation, really. Well it is normally, though in this case the participants are curiously ungrateful for the opportunities afforded them Or so they would have me believe

Curiously ungrateful? I've never had the wish to lick a toad...

Congrats on the 3000, if I hadn't already said before.

What is the satisfaction Rav gets out of it? The satisfaction of giving satisfaction?

You're asking me to believe that you transformed your personality in a toad licking vacuum? I didn't come up the Clyde on a digestive biscuit, you know

Thanks :)

@ Lestat. The toad secretes a hallucinogen in its skin. We established that earlier. Or are you making some other point?

No scratch that. I probably don't want to know the answer

This isn't another of those Eminence Grise things is it?
Interesting cliche there, btw. :D

Ahh, so that's IT. I think I missed that point.

Ahem, I must agree with Rav. I do believe I'd be unhappy if someone assumed I'd be more than happy to be licking something I wasn't willing to lick.

Thank you!
I think I'd still shy away from it, even knowing about this hallucinogenic chemical thing. :p

Hey, with my slow connection you can't expect me to read everything.

Oooooooooh, he would be licking its skin!

So it makes you hallucinate you like licking toads?

It isn't me who's had the personality change. It's one of the first signs of toad misuse, you know. Though it is largely an American and Australian pastime, I understand. But they're very cosmopolitan in Essex

Even I thought the skin of the toad.
What did you think you were supposed to lick? :D

Hah! That should be the least it does.

@Fiona, wasn't it you who suggested and labelled the personality change in the first place? :p

I didn't suggest it, Ravager. I noticed it, certainly. It is evident in examples like the first quote above. you are incorrigible. Already looking for a bigger buzz :( :p

I am embarrassed to admit I didn't recognise the cause until DJ mentioned the connection between the toads and the english today. I'm sure it is not too late for you to give it up if you want to. Though it would be a shame to let a nice toad like DJV down like that.

@Lestat, Hah! And you're a scoutmaster type?!
I fear for the wildlife... ;)

@Fiona, I should ty something safer...like bungee jumping or parachuting... ;)
I thought frog-like creatures were linked to the French. I'm sure the same applies to toads.
I think I can give up toad-licking. In fact, I can act as though it never existed. *nods* :D

I cannot believe you all are still discussing licking toads. There's much better things to lick!

Rav licking DJV? Curiouser and curiouser. :D (damn they should have cheshire smiley)

@ Rav: the wildlife should fear you...
