Hey BS, remember that time with AC...you know the one with that bottle of tequila, the poodle, and the three foot kielbasa. I don't think I could ever drank enough to erase that from my memory.

I am a HUGE sports fan-I like baseball, football, and many forms of auto racing.
So yes. I was mighty pleased about Floyd. I was also surprised about the trade. We need more relief pitchers, but a helpful bat, like Floyd is necessary aswell.
So you a sports fan, too?

Huge sports fan.
baseball, football (both american and the globe's game), hockey, tennis, formula 1 racing, NCAA college hoops (despises the NBA), fishing, and underwater basket weaving.
anyway, noticed your location and since I'm a providence native I thought I'd ask.
I certainly hope baseball doesn't strike. It WILL ruin the league and the sox's chances look awful good right now. It's so nice to see them healthy.
I heard rumors of them looking for a starter, Kenny rogers in particular. Thank God the trade didn't go through, he's a waste of a roster space; I don't care if he is a southpaw or not.
If anything, they need a closer. I have no faith in Uggie. The closer just seems to be a cursed position for them. Uggie, Lowe, Flash Gordon, Schiraldi (ugh! 1986)

Underwater basket weaving?! hehehe. Ill give you my complete list-baseball, football, both college and pro, NASCAR, CART, sometimes F1 and IRL, sometimes hockey.
I wouldnt want to see a strike-its been a messy year so far in baseball. With the botched All star game, among other things, people disliking Selig, contraction, and chaos has been hovering over baseball all this year. I think 2 strikes in less than 10 years will drive all non-hardcore baseball fans away from the sport, maybe for good. It will set baseball backwards 10 years. Contraction, if it happens will make baseball the lowest its been in 50 years. With teams like the Twins, Cardinals, Red Sox, Angels, Expos, and Dodgers finally getting decent years, it would be a crying shame to see baseball strike. The only good thing that would come out of the strike would be the Yankees wouldnt win the world series this year. Lowsy New York Yankees
As far as Rogers-he looks old-he looks like a good pitcher, but hes old. He wouldnt really help us out too much. I think Paul Byrd might be the only starter we should look at for now. I remember last year, there were rumors about Agbayani coming to Boston, thankfully he didnt, because his career seems to have hit a slump.
As far as football-how about the superbowl! I know it was a while ago but that kick still is dancing around in my head. It was quite thrilling to finally have a team from around here to win.

Paul Byrd. I forgot about that. Looks like that is off also.
You mean Vinatieri's kick, right? Just kidding. What an awesome football game. I was actually in Providence/Greenville/Newport this past weekend for a large family reunion. I say large because I hail from a large Italian Catholic family. Oh wait, everyone is Italian in Rhode Island. Go ahead, find me someone's whose last name doesn't end in a vowel. /end sarcasm.
Anyway, we stayed not far (or is it fah)

from Bryant college where the Pats have camp. I drove a couple of my younger cousins to see them on the day of our reunion. They had a ball and the linebackers were signing autographs. Them some big boys.
Funny you should mention the twins. I've been in the minneapolis area for about nine years now. They sure are a fun baseball team. They represent the epitome of a strong farm system. Its amazing how good you can get when you develop your own talent instead of buying it. Piss off Steinbrenner.

Quite true Leedogg, about the Yams. Everyone loves to cheer for the underdogg.
As Tybaltus and Myself are New England natives, it makes the victory even sweeter. We waited a long time for this. Let's not even bring up the Oakland game in the snow, though.
